"I was told the process would take two days, howerver, it more realistically took 4 1/2 days.  However, the installer Travis Ansely was outstanding.  Travis was very detail oriented in the process of installlation and everything, right down to the caulking was done consistently well.  It was really refreshing to see a talented craftsman who takes pride in his work.  The windows are beautiful and easy to operate, easy to clean.
Highly recommend Window World.

"Wonderful! During the build, we had several back to back rainy days. The builder always called us the day before to let us know that they wouldn't be out and to go over the revised build timeline. Most contractors that we have dealt with would never do that. They would just be a no show with no phone call. Since the rain put us behind, the owner made sure to do everything he could to get the project completed on schedule. He sent out two crews at once and made sure to keep in contact with us. The quality of the work was excellent. Every little detail was considered and and the crew was very pleasant and professional. They also made sure to keep the job area very clean and organized. My husband spent 21 years in the Marine Corps and is very particular and somewhat OCD. He did not have one complaint and could find nothing wrong with the quality or workmanship. I highly recommend them for any job. We couldn't be happier with the end results."

"We have used Kessler for three renovation projects on our home. After the first time, we were so happy that we didn’t even bother soliciting other bids for the later jobs. It has always been my experience that during any construction project of any complexity, some issues and/or questions will arise. Whenever that happened, the Kessler folks made sure that things were right – period – no hassles. In fact they have always worked closely with us to see that our expectations were fully met. That alone is worth a lot. I can highly recommend them."

"Bought coupon from Angies for the first hour, and paid the extra online later after the service. Joel came for an estimate first, then sent two guys to my home the other day. They worked for more than two hours. One guy replaced the four security lights outside, and the other fixed all the problems of the outlets and dimmers inside. They did pretty good job, especially the one inside. He is nice and professional.

"I contacted Total Home Repair, asking for a quote to repair some wood rot on the exterior of my home. They were prompt and professional, providing me with a written estimate after we met. I accepted the estimate and the work began on the agreed upon day. When they showed up, they were ready to go! Wood had been pre-primed and they had all of the materials and equipment needed to do the job. No excuses of having to run back to the store or other unnecessary delays. Their work was of excellent quality, and I would highly recommend them for your project. Thank you, Total Home Repair, for a job well-done!"

"Better Builders (BB) really solved our problem. I had a flat roof; I tried everything to keep that area dry. As a preventive measure, at one point, I substituted the gravel roof for a torched down flat roof. The preventive work was a disaster because what I feared most finally happened. I had a leak inside my sunroom. Apachee Roofing made a mistake in the sealing process and they had to come and do it again, but the damage was done. It went from prevention to repair mode in one day, one mild rain. Second time around, I decided not to make the same mistake, I joined Angie`s list. After a number of visits from other roofers, Better Builders came across as ready, knowledgeable, organized and with reasonable pricing. I had stratospheric estimates reaching $ 20,000, but BB fixed my flat roof giving it a slope, insulating it and  they also did additional work around my chimney by sealing it and by designing a new aluminum cap for it, all for $ 7,200 with the Angie`s list discount (I paid extra for the insulation materials and custom-built chimney cap). I cannot believe I can, actually, say:’ I am happy with my roof.  I did not have to worry about permits or inspections. The job site was clean and they even brought a portable toilet unit for the workers. All in all, a great experience. The only bad experience is Angie`s list itself. The system is annoying with undesired emails coming to you all the time.  I almost cancelled my account. They are really bad addressing specific issues because the system seems to be all automated. Do not ever save a review as draft, they will remind you every day until you die. They are NOT there yet; it is not like being a member of the Amazon.com family."

"After seeing their product at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show we were convinced that this was the right product for our porch improvement work. The guys from EZ-Screen brought samples to our home to help us select frame color and installation method. They took careful measurements of all of the window and door openings and put our order in motion. A few weeks later our windows and door were delivered.

We did this work at the same time we had some exterior siding work done by another contractor. We arranged to have that contractor do the actual installation of the EZ-Screen product. The rep from EZ-Screen came out to our site when the installation started to ensure that our contractor understood how to properly install the windows and door. Everything went smoothly and contractor commented on how easy the windows went in.

After three full seasons of use we still enjoy the product and we're pleased that we chose this as part of our porch renovation. It has added several additional months to our porch usage in our short Minnesota summer seasons. I highly recommend this product for any new screen porch or porch renovation job!"

"Remodeling is a tricky thing. No matter how dated that tile or how dysfunctional that space, they are still elements of YOUR HOME. Even if you are not at all sentimentally attached to the "old junk", or impressed by the old school craftsmanship and materials, no one looks forward with glee to the dust and mess and parade of new faces which are necessities of such change.
Before I met Burt (in Oct. 2014), I interviewed a half dozen contractors. Some showed irreverence for my space, my schedule, my biggest investment-- or all three. One led me to believe that through the entire process of gutting my 1950's bathroom down to the studs, I'd only be without that toilet for 3 days! (Having never been close to any reno work, I had no basis for disbelieving him.) Some clearly had a stock or standard plan of the vanilla room they'd leave in their wake. Some clearly were in over their heads, once they saw the space and methods used... but were not keen to decline the work. One suggested we combine the 2 rather modest baths into a "spa retreat"-- completely disregarding the reality that we have two teenagers under this roof!! Frankly, I was ready to settle for merely tolerating my contractor.
Burt Davy is head, shoulders, and waist above the rest! He came in with a positive attitude, a patient ear, a willingness to offer input when requested, and an inspiring-- and not at all oversold-- confidence in his crew. Burt clearly makes thoughtful choices about his crewmen and subs, considering their workmanship, professionalism, and demeanor so that no aspect is left lacking. Everyone who came through my door to work did so with a cheerful, courteous manner, the skills to get their part done well and timely, and the grace to handle the inevitable setbacks, frustrations, and complications which a job of this scope will include.
Each bathroom took about 3 weeks from start to 90% complete (100% functional); one was completed in Dec. 2014, and the other in Feb. 2015, accommodating various schedule conflicts we had; this timeline was perfectly acceptable to us. Each day the site was left not just livable, but safe and tidy. I was kept informed of whom to expect when, and this was honored faithfully-- with 1 exception near the end of the 2nd bath, when there'd been some crewman changes-- a temporary situation.
I was so pleased with Burt, his project manager, Rob, and his crew that I am almost looking for another major project to give them!

"From the initial call to schedule an appointment with Shea, to meeting Doug the consultant for the appointment, to talking with Chris about scheduling the work every e was professional and reassuring. My job was scheduled for two weeks, but due to rain and other jobs not being completed it was delayed getting started. I am so glad that I waited. When the crew arrived they walked through the job with me and verified the details they had on the work order. Overall craftsmanship and quality is great. Would recommend to any one for a great fence."

"I had an estimate for a screened room from another local company which is well-regarded but did not proceed because I didn't think the "add on" style they suggested would look good with my modified A-frame house (the center peak is 12 foot with clerestory windows underneath).  I spotted a sunroom in an NRG advertisement that had a roofline that looked similar to mine and contacted NRG Industries.  The owner, Mr. William Strickland, and his son, Razzie, visited my home and suggested that instead of a screen room that I might prefer the three-season room with screens plus vinyl glass windows (keep out seasonal pollen, use during rain, etc.)  They sent an estimate via email, and their showroom representative, Laura, made arrangements for me to visit two local homes that they had added rooms to.  The first was a glass sunroom with a heat/AC unit and the second was a three season room with screens and vinyl glass windows which had a ceiling fan.  This made my decision much clearer.  I decided on the room with screens and vinyl glass windows -- and after deliberating, enlarged the size from the original estimate.  Each request I made by email was quickly answered.  Mr. Norton did the concrete work and his team was quick and professional.  The room itself took awhile to complete because everything was custom ordered.  Mr. Strickland had a plumber move a hose bib from the back wall of my house to an outside corner of the new room, and I had the electrician put two additional electrical outlets on the outside wall.  We had a problem with a roof leak but foreman, Josh, and his crew located it and there has not been a leak since (I held off on putting down indoor/outdoor carpet until we were sure everything was secure).  The room is wonderful and I am out there every day.  I had been concerned that adding on to the back of the house would make the inside of the house darker but it does not - probably because the new room is basically all windows.  I am so pleased with this addition even though the cost of the original estimate took me by surprise.   Everyone who has seen the room is very impressed and I know it's added value to my house.  It was a pleasure working with Mr. Strickland and all of his work force, and I am happy to give NRG Industries the highest rating.

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Wacissa, FL

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
