"The owner came down to give us an estimate on what it would take to fix standing water issue in a house we were looking at purchasing. He performed a thorough inspection on what was causing the water to sit in the crawlspace and went over what would be required to keep the moisture and water from affecting the structural integrity of the house. "It went great!  They had the work completed in a day.  Dug a hole on the outside of the wall where the crack was, patched the crack, put some black mastic or something over the patch and refilled the hole.  
Inside to prevent concrete dust from going into the home, they hung up plastic and sealed the area.  They then cut and removed the concrete and installed the sump pump.
All work was performed in one day.
