"I submitted requests to over 15 contractors thru Angie. I had water damage to about 15-20 panels on my flooring. My request was for spot repair. Of the over 15 contractors, several contacted me saying they don't do spot repairs. Even more did not contact me at all. Marcel was the only one who contacted me who indicated spot repairs are not typically done and why, but he would be willing to inspect. Eventually, I decided to go with him and replace all the flooring in the entire unit (not just the kitchen where the water damage occurred). After pulling back the flooring in the kitchen, mold was unfortunately discovered. Marcel provided me with multiple solutions (loved that) to rid the mold and get back to the project. The multi-day project was completed in the estimated time (despite the mold setback). Marcel contacted me every day of the project to share pictures and progress. He also dealt with my buildings management company, parking situation, and tenant which can all be demanding at times. His crew cleaned up well and the unit looks gorgeous. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'll have another flooring project in the next 1-2 years and I sincerely hope I can work with Marcel at Rustic Flooring again!"

We have used Exposition Carpet for several carpet installations over many years in our finished basement, and have consistently found the best pricing, ease of schedule and quality installation thru them. I especially like that it's a family business and you are dealing directly with owners and not with a salesman that doesn't even know who his/her boss is. The installers have worked their for years and that says a lot.

After going through a back porch remodel enclosing to a mudroom, we wanted a pet friendly, water resistant and durable floor so we went with vinyl plank. The store had many options, and time frame to get material was within a week. We checked out a 'sale' prior at a trendy well known Lincoln Avenue store, only to be met with double the cost and attitude. So we ended up back at Exposition and it was a done deal within 2 weeks.

"The work crew were arrived on time and were polite. Demolition of the old floor was executed quietly and neatly. The new vinyl flooring covered an area that was almost 2,000 square feet. This was installed in two days. The staircase was sanded and restained to match the new floor. The result is a perfect match. "The craftsmanship is excellent. The time it took to finish the project exceeded expectations. The budget was also greatly exceeded. If possible, monitor and try to control the communications with the building inspector as they could inadvertantly steer you in the wrong direction. The primary reason for the negatives is that Roman had no experience with the product and the product creates many challenges for the carpenter/installer. Those negatives aside, the work outcome as I first stated is excellent. Roman is a stickler for measuring and doing things right all while learning the product on the job. The deck is beautiful."
