"Newton Roofing responded quickly to my general roof repair request. Rich Mello came out and assessed the situation and suggested both a roof patch repair and/or a partial roof replacement. He was informative and helpful. Not a hard sell at all. Quickly emailed an estimate for both jobs. I thought the price was good on both. I went with the patch repair and a month later it was completed. They even were good at cleaning up and looking for dropped nails."

"they replaced the shingles on top of a bay window where there had been an ice dam and added underlayment. The siding on the house is pre-colored Hardie board, while doing the work two of the Hardie boards broke. They replaced the broken boards with two primed but unpainted Hardie boards . They never asked if we had more pre-colored boards in the basement. We did! I asked them to make this right by pulling off the two unpainted panels and putting in the factory painted ones - The asked for an extra 650 which seems like a lot Before the job the communication was great, lots of pictures, but they did not say Hardie board is likely to break - which would would have gotten me to point out where the spares were After the wrong boards went up they were responsive and polite but not helpful The contract that i signed said they were not responsible for painting any siding, so they were technically right but they left me on my own"

"Elite Home Work improvement was fantastic. I received a call immediately, and the job was done the next day. Ron was very professional and responsive. The prices are reasonable. They also repaired a few additional issues I was having with my siding. I highly recommend and would definitely use it for other roofing and siding jobs in the future."

"FANTASTIC COMPANY. DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM BETTER THEN THE OTHER 2 COMPANIES I CALLED. STEVE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN AND SHOW ME WHAT MY ISSUE WAS. CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB AND SENT PICTURES AS THE WORK WAS BEING COMPLETED. THIS COMPANY IS NOW MY NUMBER ONE GO TO ROOFING COMPANY"

"Had a small leak in one of the skylight windows after the roof install. They promptly came out and fixed the issue. Great job!"

"Joe responded quickly. He did the necessary repair at reasonable price and explained what went wrong. Another larger roofing company wanted to replace the whole roof. Joe is honest to tell us that the roof is in overall good condition. Only a section needs to be repaired due to the damage from a poor de-ice job years ago."

"Bill repaired around my roof line, fixed and repaired loose asphalt tiles, and closed and caulked gaps to prevent any bees from entering. He even inspected other areas. He is quick and professional and for a very good price. I will keep using him in the future."

"Back in December, during the first major storm of the season, I woke in the middle of the night to the sound of water dripping inside my wall. The next morning, I contacted several companies and left messages, worried it might take weeks for someone to even assess the damage. After receiving no callbacks the following day, I reached out to The Roofing Company and got a return call almost immediately. I explained the situation to Dylan, who quickly identified the likely issue over the phone, provided a clear price range for the repair, and came out the same day. Despite the significant snow on the roof, he had no trouble accessing it, locating the leak's source, and completing a temporary repair to get me safely through the winter. The issue turned out to be a severely deteriorated chimney. Water had been seeping in through damaged pointing and flashing, which had begun compromising the wood beneath the shingles. Since my furnace had already been removed, Dylan recommended removing t"

"JPCarroll did a fabulous job on replacing my complicated, decrepit Victorian roof, completing it in a timely way and against adversity – they did the whole thing in the month of January in freezing temperatures and sometimes snow and ice. I interviewed five other roofers. However, their sales person took more time and provided far more specificity than any of the other others. Their bid was not the cheapest but turned out to be the best value by far. They went the extra mile to resolve many unforeseen problems, and the quality of work was high. Everyone I dealt with, owners, staff, and laborers, were courteous and responsive throughout. The job supervisor, Kevin, was thoughtful and included me on numerous decisions. Luke Carroll, production coordinator for the job, was always available to help, as was everyone else, even on weekends. They coordinated well with my carpenter, replacing a significant amount of trim, siding, and more as a team. The people doing the actual labor worked"

"Steve did a great job in addressing the kind of task that many roofers avoid or dread: repairs to a leaky roof. Apologies for the long account. Over 5+ years, unsealed openings around plumbing and appliance vents had caused cumulative water damage in two places of our kitchen ceiling, including dry but swollen sheet rock. A number of tradepeople had pointed out the sunlight around the vents, so the root cause was clear. For this reason as well as the small affected area (~3x6 feet) and plans for a footprint-changing renovation in two to three years, we elected to repair rather than replace our old but still healthy roof. Although he said the best way to be sure was to replace the [half] roof, Steve understood our reasoning and replaced all three vents in the problem area, with ice-and-water shield and a number of new shingles. He wouldn't guarantee such a limited fix (few if any roofers will), but offered to return if anything untoward happened in the next bit of time. It did - less than a week later, during a nor'easter. In the attic, all of Steve's vent repairs were tight, but I found regular dripping in the bay adjacent to the repairs. After the horizontal, wind-driven rain stopped, the dripping did as well, suggesting the water was getting in through a lifted shingle. Soon after, I went onto the roof and found several loose (well nailed, but unglued) shingles in the repaired area - both new and pre-existing ones. Further to either side of the repair, the shingles all adhered. Steve's very reasonable point was that I should wait for warm weather to adhere the new shingles (which come with a strip of asphalt). I agreed but chafed a bit at waiting, as we were overdue to finish the renovation. Come July, a tradesman estimating the kitchen ceiling repair took a look on the roof and showed me several still-loose shingles, including some new to the repair. Given this new information, Steve stopped by promptly and applied roofing glue under the loose shingles. I'm now satisfied he's done everything we could have expected to address our problem."
