After calling him about the leaking of the vents in our bathrooms from a torrential rain storm he responded immediately. I did not have to be put on a list having to wait a week or more for service. I was not told I had to wait until they were finished with a job that was going to be done the next month or that when it was my time to have the work done he had a larger job lined up that he was going to do first. I was not promised that he would come on a certain date and then not show up. "I contacted Robin first via e-mail and he was able to go inspect the house and provide a thorough assessment of issues that needed to be addressed and how best to prioritize them.   I then arranged to meet Robin and he took his time explaining the work that he recommended.  He encourages the use of quality material to minimize future materials/labor costs, but did offer less costly options.  I chose the higher quality materials, so considering this, I feel the cost of the whole job was very fair.   He and his crew completed the job on time and cleaned up after themselves. <br /> I definitely plan to hire Robin for other projects."

I found A-1 installations on Angie's List and chose them for their location and reviews. I assumed that because they were listed under plumbing that they were a plumbing company of sorts. The reviews were mainly appliance installations, etc. I called Eric Smith and we set up an appointment for the next day for anytime between 2 and 4pm. They showed up at 2:00 and got right to work, turning off the water and replacing the corroded pipe cap. They were clean, fast, and very professional. And had the job done within 1/2 hour. They only charged me for a 1/2 hour plus the part instead of the full hour that most companies charge as a minimum. Even though they specialize in appliance installations, they did not hesitate to help me anyway. I will use them next time I need to install any appliances. Thanks."
