That being said the sheetrock ceiling around the area where the repair was made collapsed a few days later. The owner attributed the incident to a coincidence. The repairman came out again only to suggest the idea of an additional repair, or alternatively a new door at a cost of around $2,500 plus. My spouse and I feel that if a repair is made a company should stand behind their workmanship and make things right rather than pitch a series of remedies leading back to promoting a new and costly door. Our primary concern is safety in that the estimated 400 lb. door may fall on us at any given time. He cautioned that a flashing red light maybe if any metal bolt is not sticking through 10 rollers on each track, or receding, a safety issue which they did not directly address."
