Andy and his crew built a custom fireplace surround for my new three season room using a combination of natural and manufactured stone.

We chose a large natural Pennsylvania Lilac stone slab and Andy hand chiseled the hearthstone into a fantastic bow shape and hand finished the edges to give it a natural look that almost looks like it broke off of a cliff perfectly shaped for my fireplace.

He also hand fashioned and hung a fantastic mantel cap from the same large piece of stone and hand made supports for it out of the same piece of stone.

His crew laid stone up, down and all around my fireplace as well.

NOTE: Andy can be difficult to get on the phone - after seeing him work from 8am to 8pm to finish my fireplace in time for Christmas, I learned that it's because he's busting his hump for his current customers.

"Incredibly well Shane displayed skill and a touch of genius. We had communicated by phone and text message. Shane explained that there are no exterior doors available that are in 23 inch size. If I could find a door manufacturer who would accept a special order that could take months and cost a small fortune. Most likely companies who manufacture doors would not accept a special order for a size they don't make. Shane showed up for the job with all the materials he needed to repair the door. "After talking to our neighbors who referred them we decided to hire them. We new the repairs and renovations would be extensive and we wanted someone with tons of experience. We signed a contract and had the job scheduled. The project has been done for a few months and we are still happy. After the work was done we had a small issue with one of our cabinets. They completely honored their warranty and kept their word. Our basement is no longer flooding and our newly designed kitchen and bath are absolutely beautiful. They did some really fantastic work."

"This project involved the demolition, redesign and rebuilding of our basement. This included a multipurpose room and bathroom. Thomas was the low bidder for the project by several thousand dollars. The project began as scheduled but demo and framing took longer than scheduled. Our completion date was moved back several time throughout the project, though that wasn't a big deal. There were times during the project when Thomas was difficult to get in touch with and he was routinely an hour or more late for his scheduled appointments. I need to add that Thomas is a contractor not a handyman and relies on sub contractors and individuals for all the work. Overall they did a good job, some were messy and didn't attempt to clean up their mess. At times I was asked to come up with a solution to a design problem when I expected his team of professionals to offer suggestions for me to choose from. In total fairness I feel my experience was good but not excellent. Thomas is a nice guy and flexible during all phases of the project. His sub contractors where honest and hard working, we got along well with all of them. If I had to do it all over again I'd probably study up and try to be my own contractor, assuming I had the time."
