The first day 3 people came to remove the old gutters and replace the trim. They worked from 8am to 6pm. The second day the gutter installers came. Both teams worked effeciently and I am happy with the results. People came when they said they would, sent a reminder that the work crews were coming and sent a quality assurance person to check the work performed."

"We called A&J because we had a leak in the attic.  When Brian came to do the estimate, he noticed that the chimney was in dire need of repair.  He bid the job to repair both problems.  We were told the work would be done in 3-5 weeks.  During the fourth week, we were contacted and given one day notice that the work would begin.  Two men came and completed the work in about three hours.  The roof was still leaking with the next rain storm.  Brian agreed to send the crew back.  It was another ten days or so before they returned.  Not finding a specific leak, the crew sealed an area that might be causing the problem.  We were  told that a more extensive repair would be needed if the roof continued to leak."

"Loved these guys!!! The owner Mark Jodoin walked me through the process from beginning to end. Told me the order date, permits that needed to be pulled and time frame of arrival and had the install planned around my schedule for my convience. Mark made sure I was informed about exactly what I was getting and the work it entailed. Everything went right as he had scheduled it and they did a fantastic job with the install. They put up vinyl wrapping on the outside of the trim which gave it a great finish. I have brand new hardwood floors in my house and Mark and his guys wore shoe covers to make sure not to scuff or damage anything and they were very clean throughout the wwhole process. Any time I had a question or just wanted to confirm something, I was able to call Mark directly. I have had terrible luck in the past with other companies on such large projects but I will definitely be going through them again. We have already been in talks about replacing all my windows! Highly recommended!!!

"I recommend to hire David for all your roofing and window needs because David pays attention to detail and is very efficient. Dave and helper arrived at 9:00 am and took out the old window (I broke one of the small old ones because it landed on my finger) and replaced the picture window, two small windows next to the picture. Dave replaced the inside trimming and insulated underneath the windows. In addition, Dave replaced my roof one year ago and the roof is great. Thank you, Dave."

"Feb. snow and rainstorms caused a large ice dam to form on our North side roof, and we had water damage in both the master bathroom and the family room.
Both ceilings had water stains--and both were cathedral ceilngs--high and difficult to reach.  We also had some cracked plaster in the corner of the family room from settling,  as well as one corner in the kitchen. The very top of the ceiling in the master bath had some loosening of the drywall tape and "mud", and since we were at it, I asked them to include this, as well as a cleaning and replacement of light bulbs in the kitchen fan--again, too high for us to get to.  Inspection of the bathroom water stain proved to be not from the ice dam, but a problem with the installation of the bathroom fan and light by the original owners--use of too small a unit and no insulation, causing lots of condensation which leaked down and stained the ceiling.  Both rooms would need repainting of the ceilings and the family room needed a total repaint.  Touch-up of the bathroom wall where some nails had popped and needed recovering would be enough. They matched our 9 year old paint perfectly.
The men arrived punctually each of the three days it required.  They moved and/or covered furnishings and carpeting both in the rooms and in the hallways to protect  them and were very careful to keep dust and dirt to a minimum, and cleaned everything up each night so we could resume normal  living.  They did a great job with everything, and installed a new fan unit of the correct size in the bathroom--cleaned up my kitchen ceiling, and made the fan/light unit look like new. The men were courteous and good at their jobs and did everything we had asked.
Our house looks great again, and we are very satisfied with the company, their estimator Phil; Joe, their supervisor, and his crew.
We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!
