He had to remove wallpaper, skim coat the drywall, and then paint walls and ceilings throughout the house. He also was tremendous in helping me move items into my home - while Don was making the home improvements I was also actively moving into the home - he helped me lift and move and was incredibly helpful to me. He also hung new chandelier lighting, replaced fixtures and hung wall art. I would hire Don again for any job - he is knowledgable and has a great network of services. "We initially reached out to JRB Renovations based on other online reviews and Josh's swiftness in replying. We ultimately hire JRB based on our initial design meeting, Josh's professionalism and apparent knowledge about what we were attempting to have done, and his competitive quote/pricing. Josh and team were easy to work with, always on time and communicative about any concerns, changes, or other remodeling thoughts as they came up. Our experience was unique due to the COVID-19 quarantine and shelter-in-place, but Josh continued to keep us informed about timing expectations and ensured we were comfortable with his team as they re-entered our home. Josh was on site most days and did the majority of the work himself with his assistant (other than contracted work like tile and stone counter top). The end results are great. The only thing we would do differently or next time is hire a residential design architect. This is not against JRB as Josh was very open to our design ideas and changes during the project, but having a clear blueprint and plan upfront would have helped."

"Jen Czach is the absolute best contractor we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We originally hired her to tear out and remodel our main bathroom in our 1950's brick ranch. That project was completed in April of 2018 and was completed in 7 weeks (exactly on time). Jen is very "hands on", and when she wasn't actually doing a particular part of the job (i.e electrical, plumbing, etc.) she was always here to get her trades people started, and came by after they were finished to check their work. She pays such close attention to every detail, and has treated our projects as though she were working on her own home. Our kitchen remodel involved removing a load-bearing wall to open up the space - not a small job! When Jen told us the project would be completed in 6 to 7 weeks, we thought her timeline was a bit ambitious, but we were so wrong. The project will be done this week.... exactly 6 weeks from the date of demolition. One of the many things we admire about Jen is that she takes the time to prepare for the projects she's hired to do. She has a schedule, and sets up her trades before she starts the project, so that she can complete the job on time. This was hugely important to us. She also has excellent taste, and has been really helpful to us when it came to choosing colors, materials, etc. She listened to our preferences, and developed a real feel for our taste (which isn't easy because my husband and I have very different tastes in decor!). Hire Jen Czach Construction - you won't be disappointed!! I posted a couple of before and after photos of the bathroom remodel. I will try and come back to post some finished kitchen photos."

"It went very well in fact.  Jason and his crew were very respectful in my home not only with their conversation with me but how they spoke to each other as well.  Even the music that they listened to while working was not rude or crude.  They came when they said they would.  They always cleaned up after each day's job.  And, they didn't damage my home anywhere else in the process.  Jason had no problem redesigning the plumbing, removing a huge tiled built-in bathtub and steps, and installing a shower with a European glass door and glass on top of 1/2 walls which permits more light into the shower.  Another 1/2 wall was built for privacy and a taller style toilet was installed.  12 x 24-inch ceramic tiles were used on the floor and on the walls of the shower.  Travertine was used for the baseboards and for the sills on the 1/2 walls of the shower.  My old stained sink cabinet was reused and now sports a golden Venetian granite countertop and white sink.  A single-handle Delta faucet was installed that operates with just a touch on the handle or base.  Lovely!  Even the kahki-colored paint blends very well with the tiles and countertop chosen.  I am very pleased with Jason Catlin's work and would hire him again in a heartbeat.  Matter of fact, a problem arose where the soap dish in a shower bath upstairs was not maintained and the water from the shower leaked into the half bath below.  Now there is mold behind the soap dish behind the wall.  I will be very happy when Jason can return and remediate the mold in the bathroom and rebuild what needs to be done."
