"They were very professional and nice. I kind of felt double-teamed - two guys showed up in two separate trucks. They wanted to put 13 piers around my house to fix the problem. The price for a pier is not a bad thing but it seemed an awfully extreme fix for what I had asked them to come out for. I?ve gotten their calls weekly possibly from the guy wanting to know if we had made any decisions yet on what we were going to do. I think they are a harder sell maybe than the other ones I talked to. We have had a couple of people tell us that there is no way we need that extensive work done, so I would probably not consider using them."

From first contact on this was a very positive experience. Not only was John very prompt in contacting me, but he was able to accommodate my scheduling request. John also provided very reasonable estimates compared to three other companies. The crew showed up on time, set up quickly, confirmed the plan, were pleasant with the neighbors and worked very hard despite the extreme heat. The retaining wall, walk and two flights of stairs were completed within the week. John came to ensure that it was satisfactory when completed. The company is professional, efficient and hard working. They did their best to accommodate my requests and to make sure the results would be safe, lasting and attractive. Would strongly recommend to others.

"From the salesperson to the installers, this job went as promised.  We were given several options as far as type of window but no pressure to upgrade.  This was a total difference from a big retail company that we had come out.  They kept asking us what we wanted with no suggestions--we are not the experts!

"I had someone else try to fix it a few days ago but he couldn't fix it. I called Jeff and he came right out. He had to run up to the department store for one little part. He had it fixed in less than 30 minutes."

FAQs for stone slab countertops installation (granite, marble, quartz, etc) projects in Warrensburg, MO

Soapstone countertops are durable, environmentally friendly, easy to maintain, non-porous, heat-resistant, and naturally antibacterial. They resist stains and cracks, making them a practical and long-lasting choice. However, soapstone has limited color options and can have visible seams in larger installations. It may also scratch or chip if not handled carefully and tends to have a higher initial cost than other materials. Overall, if you're looking for a functional and aesthetically pleasing countertop, soapstone is a solid choice despite these minor drawbacks.

Soapstone countertops typically come in light to dark gray, often with blue or green undertones. One of the unique features of soapstone is that it deepens in color over time, developing a rich patina that adds to its charm. Each slab is unique, with natural streaks and veining that become more pronounced as the countertop ages, giving your kitchen or bathroom a dynamic and evolving look.

With proper care, soapstone countertops can last 50 years or more. Regular cleaning with mild detergents and occasional applications of mineral oil to enhance the natural patina will keep your countertops looking beautiful. Thanks to its durable nature, soapstone stands up well for daily use, making it a wise long-term investment for your home.

Sealing isn't necessary for soapstone countertops. Soapstone is naturally non-porous and antibacterial, resists stains, and doesn't harbor bacteria. While you don't need to seal it, applying mineral oil occasionally can enhance its natural beauty and help develop a rich patina over time. This simple maintenance keeps your countertop looking its best for years to come.
