"I had my appointment with Mr. Harmond W. on May 07, 2022. It was rather easy to set up appointments and the site makes it rather easy to reschedule (which I've had to do). Mr. Harmond W. was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I've read great reviews about his appointments on here. We pinpointed the problem by process of elimination. For my particular model (Whirlpool) he's seen the common water leak issue I was experiencing. Oftentimes, filter housings need to be replaced. Mr. Harmond W. just confirmed my observation and I am glad I may now rectify the issue. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Harmond W. sent me the exact part needed via email . One may shop around at different retailers to purchase the part. Neli also sells appliance OEM parts as well by partnering with other companies. I will be going with another retailer/seller since the price was much lower with a good return policy and a protection plan option as well. For $35, one can't beat that. A diagnostic evaluation alone may range from $150 and up. I was able to pinpoint the problem and order the part. I won't be arranging for an appointment to self-install. One has to know where to draw the line. I will hire someone once I have the part in hand. I already have someone in mind, also referred by Angi. Luckily, I didn't have to do any thing too cumbersome. I gained some handy tools at well. I really liked using the nutdriver vs a screwdriver. So I've added all the necessary tools I need for the appointment to my collection, and they will be handy in the future. Overall this was an optimal experience and I would certainly refer and use Neli in the future. If you are confident in unscrewing/re-screwing, and removing parts of your appliance, I'd say give it a try. NOTE: Also understand that this an all virtual service. An appliance repair professional doesn't not come to your home at no point in time. Neli offers self- diagnostic guidance to determine the issue with your appliances. Neli sends you the part number. You purchase it, and then may opt to make another appointment to install the part. If the task is too difficult, then you may opt to hire an appliance repair professional. It's up to you to decide. "As part of my condo rules, I am required to have dryer inspection and cleaning annually. Inspection revealed improper and loose vent connection. I called Service Master to repair based on their favorable service reviews. Technician Lucky was courteous, professional and completed job quickly and efficiently. He replaced old and loose vent equipment installing new material and made sure the connection was secure and dryer working properly. Should an appliance repair need arise again, I will definitely call Service Master!"

"My furnace is very old and quit working.  I called several HVAC companies and received  quotes to replace ranging from $1,800 to $11,000.  I found Energy Wise on Angies and called Matt.  He returned my call within 30 minutes and was at my house within 24 hours.  After his inspection, he stated that the furnace was still in good shape and could offer me a  number of years service before buying a new unit.  He suggested replacing the motor and fan and cleaning internal parts.  All of this was completed by the end of the next day.

"Tech came out on Friday 11/22/24 at 6:00 which was after I was home from work. Quickly diagnosed problem and told me a dryer fuse had burned out. He came out the next day and repaired the dryer very quickly and cleaned up. Now I could have opted to replace just that fuse but he told me there were 3 fuses and the other fuses could go anytime as the dryer was at least 15 years old. It would have been cheaper just to replace the one fuse but i told him to replace all 3. That would have been penny wise & dollar foolish as if another fuse went that would have been another service call fee from that company or another plus the cost of parts & labor. I was also advised to have the dryer cleaned every 2 years which I will do. I'll probably look into how to do it myself as I am pretty handy and always looking to save money. It was a lot of money to pay for the repair at once but cheaper then a home warranty. I have had bad experiences with more then one home warranty company and have cancelled as a result. Also home warranty companies choose the service provider for you and I haven't been impressed with some of them. My advice to anyone paying a home warranty company every month would be to take that $60 or more you pay every month to them and put it in a savings account for emergency's including home appliance repair. Also on top of the monthly payment when you need them there is a service fee to pay before they come out."

"Our 2.5 ton upstairs A/C was leaking coolant, so we opted to replace it. Since downstairs unit is a Carrier, we picked Pope's to bid for the job, as they were listed by Carrier, had good marks on Angie's list, and were locally owned. Pope's Air responded the same day we called, and Tim Stewart came in the afternoon, and spent over an hour describing our options and costs. We received a competitive bid, and selected Pope's Air for the work. Our previous supplier had replaced our downstairs unit a couple of years back, and had put in a unit which stressed our ductwork, causing a whistle when loaded. Pope's Air volunteered to have a look at that problem, too, included at no charge. Pope's Air scheduled and came on time the following week. It took a day to do the work, and the installers were clean and professional. They came up with an inexpensive fix in the cold air return ducting, and implemented it. No more whistle. In the upstairs unit, they discovered some crushed ductwork which our previous supplier had ignored and replaced about 20' of ducts, all for a very reasonable upcharge. The A/C works fine, w/ a better airflow, and they will return for an inspection once the weather warms enough to exercise the unit. We plan to use Pope's Air for all of our Heating and A/C needs in the future. Highly recommended."

They were telling me one thing, but were telling my home warranty company something different. When I requested all three of us get on the phone to clarify the misunderstanding, Repair Tech Plus declined. As a result, I have to schedule another company to come out and start all over again with the assessment. This should have already been closed out so I could order a new appliance."
