On large remodel projects we like to work with the homeowner to work out the lowest possible cost possible. If the homeowner is interested, we like to have them save money by helping with their projects first hand themselves! We add them to our General Liability Insurance as an "additionally insured" while the projects are being done. We offer one of the lowest"handyman" service rates available at $45 per hour plus a small trip charge. The company owner's primary background is in "Construction Quality Control" and has written many quality control manals to insure that construction tasks are performed with excellent workmanship in mind. Our company initial started many years ago as a consultant business that worked with home owners to get the best quality workmanship for the least amount of money. "Brandon and his crew are hard-working and professional. I use them every spring to clean up and mulch my planting beds, trim the hedges, fill in holes and re-seed grass. Due to the nature of the work it's weather-dependent, and I don't really care exactly when it gets done. I contact Brandon early in the season to get on his schedule, and he lets me know a few days before he expects to be on site. When here, he and his guys are all about the work and get a lot done very quickly."

"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"
