Jim, Linda's dad, and Linda did a new water line for us.  They volunteered on a Habitat For Humanity House we were involved with. <br /> Hayes Plumbing has installed a faucet, fixed my leaky shower, re-plumbed my house including new waste lines, installed a new gas line at a different house for us. Most recently help us out with a bad floor drain. <br /> They have done work for folks on my block and for my friends. I have never heard anything but good things about them.  They are prompt, professional and experienced. They provided advice and alternatives, which have saved us money both in the short and long term. <br />"

"I was given a window between 1pm and 2pm for an estimate.  The guy showed up almost an hour late.  After determining what was leaking he went to home depot to get the replacement part.  I still had not been given an estimate.   <br /> He gets back and replaces the part maybe 45mins at home depot and 15 mins at my house, then has no idea what to charge me.  Here is where I realize I'm in trouble.  He waits about an hour to talk to his boss and see what the charge would be, so much for getting an estimate before hand.  He finally gets ahold of the guy then tells me its $185.  I asked him if that included the 10% angies list discount listed on angies list and he shrugs and says "uh, I think so", right.   <br /> So basically I feel like a dope for not demanding an estimate before he booked it out to the store, but still that's a little ridiculous.  I won't be using McDonah again. <br /> The work however was fine, he left it in better condition then it was. <br />"

"There was a cave-in at one location outside the foundation where they had put their equipment, and they came quickly to repair it. They did not clean up very well after themselves for the interior work, and they left cracked tile. They have not come back to look at the extra cracks."

"The contractor removed one tank containing filtering media the added a larger one with a media that was sufficient for the iron content that had to be removed.  He further adjusted the system and corrected the water flow and backwash cycle.   Other tanks were cleaned along with the flow valve for proper functioning. The contractor was in and out in four hours using two workers that were both polite and competent. Everything was cleaned up and was left in better shape than when they arrived. From the time they put the new system on line our water has been perfect.  We are so happy after several contractors worked on our system for 10 years and none of them has gotten it right. <br /> WE RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR TO ANYONE WITH BAD DRINKING WATER!"

"Heartland Plumbing is a family-owned business. Brandon is the owner and was also the lead plumber on my project. When the owner is doing the work, you know it is getting done right. Brandon is very professional and very knowledgeable about all aspects of plumbing. Two of his employees that also worked on my project were just as professional and courteous. Brandon has a and quot;can-doand quot; attitude. I got estimates from two other plumbers who moaned and complained about how difficult the job would be. Brandon was confident that he could do it without major difficulty. While his estimate wasn't the cheapest, it was very close to the others, and I felt his level of professionalism and quality of work was well worth a few extra bucks. I am very particular about the way work is performed in my home, and Heartland Plumbing and Sewer met all of my expectations. I will continue to use Heartland Plumbing in the future and have already scheduled Brandon to come back and do some additional work for me. "Paid for over half of job on day of ordering. Was told could pay rest of bill off before the end of Feb without any interest. Got a notice from their financial group that I would have to pay so much a month for 12 months and if I paid off early I would have to pay a fee. <br />Work began 3 days after they said it would. They could not finish and said they would be back within the next day or two. I had to call them about 10 days later to find out when they were coming. Got the story they should have been there, I will call the supervisor. 2 days later got a call, they will be there in 2 or 3 days. They finally made it finished the insulation and put in 6 of the 8 vents, said they could not do those and I will get credit for those.... And I still wait for that, if I had know this I would have never done business with this company. <br />"

"Very good service across the board. Sales professional was punctual, knowledgeable, and polite. Our concerns were addressed and solution provided. The man that performed the work was great as well, he explained the work again and was done on time. The job came in well under budget, and we honestly wouldn't have known, they could have charged us the full amount but didn't. One note: This job was to address water seeping in through a crack in the basement and we haven't had much precipitation since the job has been done. While I have confidence that the problem is solved, I don't have any real proof yet."
