"Workers dropped construction trailer yesterday afternoon & began work this AM. Sergei (owner) stopped by and explained minor changes. Workers very professional & courteous. Bad weather pushed timetable back by a couple of weeks. However, Sergei stayed in touch by phone & stopped by with his framer to go over measurements. So far we are very pleased. Sergei mismeasured opening for storm door which is going to require a custom made door. He explained that he would absorb the additional cost. I admire his honesty. Project completed a few days ago except for storm door. Good job, workers cleaned up everything. Sergei stopped by to be sure we are satisfied & accepted partial payment until custom storm door is here & installed. We also had an issue with during heavy rain we had water leaking into the soffet which they repaired with a j channel. I would definitely use Alliance again for any outside projects or repairs."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. "I did the roof two years ago. He did wonderful job in the beginning giving the quotation and all that very well. And when he was doing the job it was really good, but there were a couple of problems we discovered later on and he was not good in apologies for any of them."

"I added a dormer to our house, and part of the project was to replace the roof for the entire house. WR Construction replaced my neighbor's house last December, and I was astonished by their performance, so I asked them to provide a quote for our roof and the wood siding for the new dormer. Their price was very competitive and included all quality materials, so I awarded them the job. All materials and a dumpster arrive on a Wednesday. Thursday morning, William and 8 of his crew arrived and went to work. They covered the ground around the entire house and draped tarps from the roof edges to tarps on the ground, so the home and shrubs were protected from the debris sliding off the roof. The entire roof was stripped by 9 am. The debris was shoveled into wheelbarrows and loaded into the dumpster by 11. They installed new drip edges, water & ice, chimney flashing, and a water barrier. 5-6 nail guns install shingles for our 5000 SF house in about 5 hours. They even did our shed and the wood siding for the dormer. They were done cleaning up by 6 pm, and I was thrilled with their work. I HIGHLY recommend WR Construction!!!"
