"Your company is outstanding and we are extremely happy. Our technician Garett was prompt and polite. He was very knowledgeable and explained things about our situation that we were totally unaware of. Potentially saving us time and money down the road. "I recently had the pleasure of working with Kyle from Ramsey’s Plumbing Services, and I couldn’t be more impressed. He handled multiple jobs for us, including work on our heating system, water tank replacement, and repairs to both water and sewer lines—and everything was done with professionalism and care. Kyle was punctual, knowledgeable, and upfront about pricing, which was very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. He explained each step of the process in simple terms, completed the work efficiently, and left the area clean and tidy when finished. It’s refreshing to find a plumber who is honest, skilled, and affordable—and someone you can trust with both small and large jobs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ramsey’s Plumbing Services to anyone in need of quality plumbing work. We’ll definitely be calling Kyle again in the future!"

"About 2 months ago we had the techs from Diffley Drain Service out. At that time they ran a snake through the drain and pulled out a small root 75 feet down the line which at the time seemed to clear the backup which was manifesting itself in our basement utility sink. Thirty-three days later the problem manifested itself again and to their credit even though it was three days over the warranty period they came back out without any fuss. They snaked the drain again this time going out 105 feet without clearing anything. Now here is where things get a bit dodgy, rather than add a 2nd reel of cable onto the snake (or really even mentioning it) to enable them to snake further the tech tells my wife that they will need to install an external access point in the yard so they can snake further down the line and that will cost $3000. We say we'll think about it and explore other options. Once we watched some videos and educated ourselves about the matter we ended up hiring a different drain service. The new company we hired used 2 spools of snake to be able to go further down the line and cleared a bunch of roots 140 feet down the line. BUYER BEWARE with Diffley Drain Service they seem to only give you part of the story in order to seem credible. I will say that Diffley comes quickly and promptly which when you have sewer backup issues is a positive and they are initially reasonably priced but educate yourself about your problem or you will get taken advantage of."

"Amazing team and service! We had flooding in our basement and as you can imagine it was extremely stressful. Kyle and his team made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. We ended up having a late service, due to other clients they had that night. Preston showed up at 730pm with smile and determination to fix our issue. He was here until after midnight, trying everything he could. Unfortunately, we had to resort to calling the city for assistance at the sewer. They recommended a plumber and helped get though a major issue at our house. Thank you Zoom Drain."

"Scott was attentive to our request. Over the phone, he was honest about not wanting to estimate the problem - so as not to give inaccurate information. Although he wasn't able to work on the problem - do to an out of date heater - he pulled on his resources, called his fellow plumbers, and gave us an alternative plan, including a trusted company that was, in the end, able to solve the problem for us. In the future, we will feel confident calling on Scott again."

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Warwick, RI

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
