"Excellent work from start to finish. My father was a mason, so I know great work when I see it. First, they brought in a tear-down team to remove the chimney down to the first-floor roof level of our two-story house. After which, they rebuilt the chimney to original height installing approximately 900 new bricks using a new Type N mortar. They installed a new 5" thick concrete crown with a 2" drip edge and an expansion joint. They replaced all accessible sections of fireplace clay flue tile extending 4" - 6" above the concrete crown. Installed new stainless steel chimney cap. Installed 2 sets of new step and counter flashing. Installed 2 sets of new ice water shields and shingles as needed. Cleaned and weather sealed chimney entirely upon completion. After the chimney rebuild was done, the Mason, Seth, and his crew cleaned the work site, to include the whole driveway. They are a very efficient and thorough team. I understand that they like to leave the customer's house and yard as clean or better than they find it."

Luther,a Roofwise foreman, came the same day I called to inspect the project to estimate the job. That was in August 2009. However, the roofers did not start work until right after New Years. I am highly satisfied with the responsiveness and professionalism of this company, the delay in start date notwithstanding. I have noticed some water staining on the soffits in two places, suggesting that some leaks persist. "Overall I’d give them a B rating. They were timely and professional, responsive to quality issues I raised after day 1 (2-day job for 320 linear feet). The quality issues were mostly missed nails that needing punching and excess paint dripping on outside corners. They did not come with a hammer and nail punch nor a dry vac, so I had to offer my own. Brad made sure I was happy with the final product and I am. He even called in to Sherwin Williams store so I could get a gallon of wall paint on his discount rate. I’d use them again but request different employees of Brad’s if I wanted trim/crown painted again."
