The team was upfront from the start about the potential of delays on specific components of the project due to disruptions caused by the pandemic in the construction industry (cabinet shipments, scarcity of glass for shower, etc). They never promised a precise completion date for this reason and I had great respect for their honesty and clear explanations. Once work started they were efficient in their use of time and never had delays or significant days missed. I was impressed with Jay’s coordination and project management when it came time for multiple experts to complete their work (electrician, plumber, HVAC, drywall, etc). They were timed perfectly, one after the other with almost no days missed between them. Jay was highly communicative, texting us once a day with what and who to expect next. Whenever we had a question or concern, he had an immediate answer and resolution. The A.I.S. carpentry team was outstanding. Jason and Austin completed the demo, framing, set the cabinets, installed a new window and completed the finishing work. Their carpentry work was incredible. They built all new baseboards, door frame and window frame to match the original wood work of our 100-year-old house. They even built a beautiful custom bench to cover some HVAC pipes is an adjacent room. They made everything look original to the home. They were on site most days, taking care to keep our pets safe and make our family feel safe. The project came in on budget and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the final results! A.I.S. "By far the best house cleaning we have ever paid for! We have used multiple companies and individuals, but nothing compared to the work they did for us. Every little detail was covered. They laid on top of the laundry machines and cleaned all the lint behind the machines. Sanitized the toilet plungers and stood on sinks to detail the light fixtures. The kitchen was spotless after they cleaned the stove inside and out by hand, spot cleaned walls and cabinets, and did more than a surface sweeping of the floors. The beds were made so nicely, and my kids got a kick out of the fancy shapes they put their blankies in on the ends of the bed. We will definitely have them back each month. Makes me sad that we have spent so much money on other companies and were missing out on this!"

"Gary was a terrific service-provider from the first call forward.  Returned my request for service call promptly, met with me within days to look over the scope of the job, provided suggestions on the spot about the best way to repair what was wrong, was the only person that I brought out who recognized why rot took place at the back of the garage (faulty metal roof installation).
He gave a verbal, charge-by-the-hour estimate and stated an approximate week he would be free to tackle the job.  He came exactly when he said he would and in the span of about 2 and one half days started and finished the job.  He did as good a job on the wood repair (matching the trim, making sure to prime wood properly) as a carpenter would and he completely solved our roof issue by adding a metal stop to the back of the roof, underneath the original flashing (correcting what should have been done when the metal roof was initially installed).   He also did a wonderful job trouble shooting how to fix a decorative element in the front of the garage (a horizontal wood panel above the garage doors that gathered water from the vertical barn board siding above it).  He pulled and replaced that panel and put a drip cap type fix underneath it.
He is versatile and professional.  Worked with his father in-law on the job and had no discomfort doing a lot by tall ladder.  Did a terrific job cleaning up  by bagging all the discarded wood in heavy duty garbage bags so they could easily be placed out on the curb for garbage pick up.  Finally he also took the time to tell us that we had potential issues with carpenter ants.  Even saved the damaged wood so that my husband, who is an entomologist, could look it over and identify the type of ants.  His final price, although not inexpensive, was completely in line with the other 2 estimates I had received.  I certainly feel his work was worth it!
