"Just Blinds did an excellent job of providing us with a beautiful window treatment. Brent gave us many options and took his time. He is very knowledgable and experienced. Brent did a wonderful job of installing the shutter and cleaning up afterwards. He even cleaned the window prior to installing the shutter. Service does not end at installation. Just Blinds will always return for any problems or needs that one may encounter. Just Blinds offers the best products and customer service around. I have used them numerous times in the past, and I will always use them for any future window treatment needs.I highly recommend Just Blinds for all your window treatment needs."

"Transport happened two days late even after an uplift in service to assure the vehicle move happened before or on the target move date. My main issue was the communications of an issue, I was informed the morning of the day the vehicle was suppose to be off the property. Then there was no projected date for resolving the issue that I could pass on the the new property owner and no lead time to allow me to find other carriers to handle the move. Auto Transport - United Freight Of America did continue to work the issue and a new transport was provided two days later however I found out about that 1 hour before the truck was going to meet me at the property. I had arranged to have an alternate transport occur on Friday just before I got the call however I was able to cancel the Friday transport. The C rating would have been a B if there was more communication and if there was a maybe selection for "would I use them again" I would have selected that."

"
Our furnace gave up on us on New Year's Day. It was an extremely cold winter. We contacted them and they sent someone out on that very day. It cost $78.00 for the repair. We were not comfortable with a gas furnace that was acting up in the dead of winter and called them to give us a quote for replacing ours with a new, high efficiency furnace. The cost was approximately $2000.00 for everything. We told them to do it and literally within 3 working days it was installed.

This is the second time we have used them. The first time was to install a heat pump in our home. They came in and put covers on their boots and then cleaned up after themselves before they left. They were respectful both times. One of the guys even said our very loved but fat little mutt was pretty. I would never hesitate in recommending this company for any service they provide. We are so grateful that they did the work so quickly and for such a fair price because they were concerned for our wellbeing. Did I mention that it was very cold this last winter?

"

"They have a minimum fee of $475 for all jobs. My job was not quite $475 so I had to pay the minimum. This is archaic but I paid it so obviously, I am feeding the monster.
The crew arrived almost an hour late, despite knowing their work preceded a window installation project and would impact the other contractor. Stuff happens - they said they got stuck in traffic. This is Columbus, OH, not New York City. I am amazed when, often, contractors arrive late and blame it on traffic. I go to work everyday, and I arrive on time because I plan for .... traffic. While attempting to pull their large box truck up to the curb in front of my house, the crew shaved off a large branch of my neighbor's tree. I had to yell for them to stop or the damage would have been a lot worse. Ultimately, they had to ask the window installers to move their truck from that spot - after asking ME to negotiate with that crew, for them.
Thankfully, the window installers, who had already begun, agreed to move their truck, then stepped aside and waited for the insulation to be installed. At one point, a supervisor showed up on site and did not introduce himself to me. I had to ask him, as he wandered around my patio, if I could help him, and who was he? He eventually gave me his name but seemed disinterested in communicating with anyone other than his crew. Nice attempt at quality control but a bit of a blunder on customer service.
After the insulation was in, the crew got ready to leave, without cleaning up the mess they made while drilling holes in my cedar and blowing insulation into the walls. I asked, "Do you guys clean this up?", they replied, "Not usually." So I asked them to do so today. They then had to ask the window installers to borrow their shop vac to remove the debris strewn all over my porch. When it came time to pay the bill, they doubled the price. I laughed and said, "Nice try." Additional unfunny comments followed to which I did not reply.
Overall, work seemed fine. Not the most comforting experience with a contractor I've had this summer.
"

"
We are extremely pleased with the quality of work and service we received from Albert Rivera. It was a pleasure working with a skilled craftsman who does excellent work at a great price.

Due to the deteriorating condition of our 22 year old master bathroom, my wife and I decided we needed to renovate. At the time, we were not sure what we wanted to do, where to find materials, or how to locate a good Contractor. I spent months visiting stores around Columbus and browsing Contractor websites. Fortunately for me, I stumbled upon The Tile Shop. They have 20 or so bathrooms constructed in their shop, which are great for ideas. Their sales associates are also very knowledgeable and friendly. They also provided me with a referral list of Contractors, which is how I found Albert.

When I was ready to get quotes, I contacted four (4) Contractors (two of whom were ranked very high on Angie's List). All four were very professional, friendly, and had comparable pricing. However, I selected Albert for the following reasons:

He had the best ideas to enhance what I was trying to do. For instance, he offered to reroute our shower supply line to put in a recessed shelf.

Albert did not need any Subcontractors. The other Contractors did. It's my understanding that this is where schedules usually go awry.

I did not have to worry about "who would actually show up to do the work". Albert and his son do everything themselves. I'd also like to add that Albert's son seems to be just as skilled, friendly, and knowledgeable as his father.

Albert did not push me towards any particular suppliers, but if I asked, he always had good advice to offer.

Most importantly, Albert came across as very patient and genuine. I felt like I was hiring a longtime family friend.

Throughout the project, Albert kept me informed on how things were going and finished the job on schedule. I'd also like to add that he was the only person I could find to install the above referenced ceiling fans, which was a huge plus. Not only was this tough work due to the challenges in my attic, he also did it for a very reasonable price.

In conclusion, our bathroom renovation experience went better than we could have expected. I'll be sure to call Albert again when I'm ready for my next renovation project.

"
