Roofers were on site at 7:30 and including removing a foot of snow from the roof and garage roof, were done by 4:15 the same day. This roofing job included replacing 4 skylights. Job site was well protected, job site was cleaned 100%, the project supervisor was very communicative. I observed the entire job and the 12 roofing laborers did not skip any steps or cut any corners. They were very attentive to all areas that required flashing including around the skylights, chimney, and valleys. "It went terribly. The contractor hired a subcontractor but claimed that they were his crew. The work that was performed by the subcontractor was terrible. The J channel was installed improperly and damaged. When they started installing the siding, they damaged it. Four existing windows were damaged and needed to be replaced due to structural damage. When we reached out to the contractor, he offered to fix it, but it was a band-aid fix. The contractor then provided a Certificate of Liability for the subcontractor and told us not to mention his name or company to the insurance company and to tell the insurance company that we had hired the subcontractor ourselves. It takes a year to get a settlement from subcontractor insurance. We are writing about this so that it may save someone else from suffering this problem or loss. We had provided all materials, and the contract was for labor."

"I like Gavin and his crew. Sadly, the porch repair he did was not a priority for him. Repeated mistakes and countless no-show days made it challenging to work with Gavin. A $1000 cost overrun and a large pile of construction debris that remains in my yard (Its removal was part of the bid) make it impossible to recommend his company for larger projects. Gavin said he and his crew would come last Sunday to clean this pile up, but alas, they did not show up, and I have no confidence that they ever will."
