"Went amazing, Nick (highly recommend) came out to assess the situation on my 18 yr old (double drawer) dishwasher... he was careful not to break anything in the process, began trouble shooting parts, found out that likely due to heat and moisture of a dishwasher - the connector on one of the controller boards seems to not making good enough contact. He cleaned the connectors on both drawers before reassembly, and I had two fully working 18 yr old drawers on the spot with no new parts needed. Nick was also helpful to recommend brands that were less likely to see repair after purchase, I wasn't sure if I'd go with Fisher & Paykel again in the future - but I've had so few problems, and even now at 18 yrs the machines are working like new... so with Nick's insightful inputs, I'll probably upgrade to the latest Fisher/Paykel double-drawer model when I get to that point. I'm an engineer by trade, so I already know many of the likely appliance trades - and Nick of Sterling Appliance did a great job... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others, especially if you no idea about the appliances and need to trust the repair service. :) Nick did a wonderful job, explaining what his concerns were - and wasn't pushing a bunch of unnecessary alternatives... he was there to help me understand how to move forward."

"Used this company first time last summer when our 2 year old Samsung <br /> dryer stopped working.  Technician Mo came out during the scheduled time <br /> window, with a call ahead, announcing that he is 10 min.  away.  He <br /> diagnosed the problem quickly (motor kaputt:  human error as I forgot to <br /> place the filter back in its place after removing the lint.)   As it is <br /> a good product and so "young" we decided to invest in a new motor.  It <br /> needed to be ordered and Mo came back installing it when it arrived.   <br /> No problem since. <br /> This time around, our 3 year old Electrolux range / <br /> oven needed help as the self cleaning feature did not work.  Mo came <br /> back out, again with a phone call ahead within the scheduled time <br /> window.  He again diagnosed the problem quickly. (The sensor went bad.) <br />  We are following Mo's recommendation to not use the self cleaning <br /> feature as there are grand possibilities to ruin the motherboard when <br /> using this self cleaning feature (the risk is especially high with high <br /> end , sophisticated ranges.)  I bought some baking soda, made a paste <br /> and started cleaning the dirty spot.  I could remove some of it, but <br /> then I needed to get a spray bottle of fume free oven cleaner and <br /> finished the job.  We did not bother getting the sensor replaced as we <br /> decided to skip the self cleaning feature altogether.  Mo has been on <br /> all occasions very professional, courteous and efficient.   <br /> Will call them for any appliance repair need in the future.  Highly recommend. <br /> TIP:  Take a look at their website, I have seen a coupn that applies against the repair of an appliance! <br />"
