We were originally told it would be a 1 day project - removal of old countertops and install of new. It took a total of 7 days, finishing Sunday night when we were told it would be done the prior Monday (we kept getting the "it will be done tomorrow...it will be done tomorrow", etc). This left us without a kitchen sink or usable kitchen space for several days. We had to advocate for ourselves the whole week to find out information about what was going on.
