I took a chance by calling Yabi Services, and not only was Yabi able to schedule me the next day, Saturday, but the questions he properly asked on the phone provided him enough information to show up for the appt., on time, with a replacement motor. He explained the problem, the solution, the costs involved (labor and parts), and performed the work quickly AND correctly, with the help of his colleague, Mike. My dryer is like new! "Samsung and ABT scheduled me two weeks out (leaving us without a working fridge for over 2 weeks). Samsung's contracted repair service charged me $155 for "labor" on a date over a week before they were even scheduled to show up. ABT was no call/no show on the day they were scheduled. Wili happened to be in my neighborhood when I called, arrived in minutes, diagnosed the problem quickly, found the needed part locally, and had it installed and the fridge up and running in just under an hour! And he charged less than either Samsung or ABT would have."

"Of course this happened just as I was leaving town, so I made arrangments while I was out of town for Appliance Marshall Repair to come to my house on my first day home after my trip. They were very accommodating. I scheduled the date and requested the service window be after 9:30am. They were happy to comply, and confirmed my appointment and time window the day prior. As promised, the service person (David) called prior to his arrival at my house. He was on time, very nice and professional, and got to work immediately examining my dryer. He found the source of the fire (in an electrical component), but also found that the belt and door hinges were soon to be a problem. He didn't have the replacement parts on his truck, but since the dryer was nearly ten years old, and the repairs/parts would cost nearly $500, I opted to simply purchase a new dryer.
