"Chris and his crew did an amazing job and people still stop several months later while I am working in the front yard and comment on how great the new fence looks. My village has strict ordinances on fences and Chris was adaptable to the tweaks that needed to be made to ensure the installation was compliant down to the last detail. Even the village inspector was impressed with his work and the care he took to keep not only my property, but also the neighbors' property on both sides, looking attractive, thus adding to the curb appeal of three homes. Chris' crew are hard-working, polite young men who were careful of my property and even collected the soil from the post holes for my use in raised beds I plan on installing. I cannot say enough good things about the creative solutions and skill demonstrated in blending two different types of fencing materials. Patience was essential this year as there were material delays due to temporary factory shutdowns due to the pandemic, but it was well worth the wait. Fantastic job."

"They did a phenomenal job. The crew was really fast and thorough. They had to clear some old brush from the old fence line. That was hard work and they flew right through it. The fence is beautiful . We are really excited about it. The customer service , Jessica was like talking to my sister or good friend. The gentleman who came out for the estimate was great too, very friendly. The price for the project was was surprising, so I said I accept that offer. I would totally recommend them, and I have already."

"I thought John and his crew did an excellent job. John is a man of his word - he did what he said he would do. Jaclyn (office) was like that to. Both were very professional. After seeing how technical this type of deck can be to install, I’m glad I hired someone who really knew what they were doing."

"Nick and his team were initially very good at our snow removal. They worked with snowblowers rather than a plow, which made for a better cleared driveway. Initially, they came within a reasonable amount of time after a snowfall. But as the season wore on, the team frequently had not showed up even 24 hours after a snowfall - an unacceptable amount of time. Calls to Nick most often went unanswered. If, by chance, he did return a call, Nick was apologetic and polite - but it didn't change the problems. This season, with the first large snowfall, no one showed up - and multiple calls to Nick were never returned."

"Brothers Rodriguez installed my beautiful black chain link fence for my front yard. I get complements all the time. They did excellent work. Arrived on scheduled, worked in the rain and made sure the yard was clean when they left. Very professional work. I would highly recommend. Michele P."

FAQs for barbed wire fence installation projects in Waukesha, WI

Barbed wire is a type of fencing made from steel wire with sharp edges or points spaced along the strands. It's designed to prevent unauthorized entry or contain livestock by acting as a physical deterrent. Barbed wire fences are often seen in agricultural settings or high-security areas because they're effective, durable, and require little maintenance.

You can expect to pay between $3 and $6 per linear foot for a barbed wire fence, including installation. The exact price depends on factors like material quality, number of strands, wire thickness, and labor costs. If you have a larger project, bulk purchasing and hiring a professional might offer cost savings.

The number of strands you need depends on the fence's purpose and the level of security you want. For a standard livestock fence, you might use three to five strands. For higher-security needs, you may require more strands to meet your needs. Consider your specific requirements and talk to your fence installation pro to determine the appropriate number.

Barbed wire fencing regulations vary by location. In many residential areas, the use of barbed wire is restricted or prohibited due to safety concerns. Before installing a barbed wire fence, work with your barbed wire fence installation pro to check local zoning laws and homeowner association rules to ensure compliance with regulations.

The lifespan of a barbed wire fence depends on the quality of materials and environmental conditions. Fences made with high-quality, galvanized wire and proper coatings can last between 20 and 30 years. Regular maintenance and inspections can extend the fence's longevity by addressing issues like rust or damaged strands promptly.
