"The report seemed generic - stated too difficult to inspect due to heavily furnished but this home was vacant and unfurnished. Each category said unable to see - recommend inspection by professional - ie: HVAC, plumber, electrician, etc. Nothing noted that we couldn't see ourselves. This inspection was not much help and later we found a lot of water damage and mold from previous roof leaks and flooding, many other problems. I felt we did not get a very thorough inspection."

"A 40 foot section of our foundation wall was completely rebuilt in June of 2014, and recently a 10 foot section of that wall displayed signs of water intrusion. A representative from KBS came out in late October of 2018 to survey the problem, take pictures and come up with a solution to remedy the issue. On Jan. 4, 2019, the project manager, Josh English, came to discuss what steps were to be taken in the repairs and ask if this was satisfactory to us, which it was. Jan. 9-10, a crew came to initiate the remediation; throughout the work, the lead technician Josh, explained what was to be done and consulted us about placement of various physical aspects (electrical supply, sump pump, etc.), which was much appreciated. After the repairs were completed, Josh again went over the details of the work to ensure our satisfaction, which we were. The remediation included installation of an interior French drain and a sump pump on that section of wall, in addition to covering the concrete block with a non-organic material to prevent mold growth. There was no charge for the repair, as it was covered by the original warranty, but I must add that this was obviously a substantial financial investment by the company owner (labor, materials and travel time) to guarantee that the issue was permanently resolved. The only negative comment that I would make is that I initially had some difficulty making contact with someone to explain the problem that I was having, so that someone could come and evaluate it, as well as finding out when repairs were to be scheduled."
