"I recently had an underground sprinkler system installed by pacific General Contracting out of Ephrata, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, Luis and team were incredibly punctual and showed up exactly when they said they would, which is something I really appreciated. Luis is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain the entire process, making sure I understood how everything worked and what to expect. His attention to detail and strong work ethic were obvious-he worked hard the entire time and made sure the job was done right. He was also very responsive whenever I had questions, both during and after the installation, which made the whole process smooth and stress free. If you're looking for someone reliable, skilled, and professional to install an underground sprinkler system, I highly recommend Luis and his team. He did an outstanding job, and I would absolutely hire him again. I’m just sorry I didn’t ask him to remodel my kitchen!"

"The Right Choice did an amazing job on my home renovation. They turned my old run down house into a dream house for me. They removed my wood siding and replaced it with river rock, painted the rest of the house and patio cover, took out my concrete walkway and flower bed and replaced it with a porch made from pavers. They also made a walkway down to the street. Leo was great to work with. He told me he wanted me to be happy with the job and he went above and beyond to make sure I was. The crew that worked on the house was fabulous. They worked hard, paid attention to detail and I could tell they took pride in their work. Leo communicated on an almost daily basis and made sure I understood the process. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend Leo and this company."

FAQs for wood stairs and railings installation and replacement projects in Wenatchee, WA

A pro can set an attic ladder in two to four hours, including framing adjustments and finish work. Complex installs—like cutting a brand-new opening or trimming joists—land toward the high end of that window. Tackle the job yourself and plan on a full day, plus an extra pair of hands, since one mis-measurement can slow everything down.

Local building codes drive this decision. If your ceiling has a fire-rating requirement, the ladder must match it to maintain that protective barrier. A rated unit slows flame spread between the attic and living space, buying valuable evacuation time and limiting damage.

Because codes vary by city and even by neighborhood, check with the permitting office or ask your contractor before you order the ladder.

Aluminum ladders are light, rust-proof, and easy to maneuver, making them a practical choice for most households. Wood models handle higher weight loads and can match traditional trim if aesthetics top your list, but they’re heavier and need occasional upkeep.

Compare the ladder’s duty rating, your ceiling height, and how often you’ll use it. The best option is the one that balances safety, convenience, and the look you want without stretching the budget.
