"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

"I will never recommend nor use Budget Blinds again. When your salesperson came and measured, I thought I was paying for the entire job, yet he had not included three windows that we had specified and that he had already measured. This oversight was not noticed until the workers came to install and I questioned why these windows were not included. The only reply was that it would be nearly another $800 (after a discount) to have them done. When I swiped my card initially, I thought it was for ALL measured windows. So, in essence the job was more expensive than I had imagined. Certainly not "budget" at all. I also was not impressed with the worker's installation, as I had to go back and point out a few things that needed to be fixed - scratches, holes drilled in wrong areas, smudges of dirt, etc. Not to mention a cracked window. While what was installed are fine, I was able to install on my own the three missed windows and they came out nicer and better."
