"I truly cannot express how AMAZING Carlos and his crew is and wish that I’d met him two years ago. We were at the tail end of a major renovation that we’d started with another contractor and it was full of all the horror stores that you’d expect; people not showing up, shoddy work, constant delays and more. We’d spoken with a bunch of other builders and had similar results; we were at our wits end and truly wished we’d never started this project that we’d long dreamed of doing. After reading Carlos’ reviews, I called him, resigned to the fact that this would be another frustrating dead-end and explained the status of our project; he came out the next day and sent two crews of carpenters the day after that. In four days, Carlos did what our previous contractor hadn’t been able to do in fourteen months! He fixed a ton of poorly done work (including a set of winding oak stairs- no small feat!) and finished our project in ways we could not have imagined a week ago. Literally every day, my wife and I would say to ourselves, “is this really happening?!” Our house looks amazing, the craftsmanship is incredible and we couldn’t be happier. All of his carpenters are excellent to work with, communicate their ideas clearly, and are extremely clean. They offered ideas as to best use the space without adding to the budget and even fixed things I hadn’t noticed were installed wrong by the previous contractor. They showed up on time, did their jobs well and I truly cannot thank them enough. Thank you Marceil, Marcellino and everyone else at Alcantara! I will literally never hire anyone but Carlos for any building needs and have already referred him to three friends that are looking to do projects ranging from building decks to large interior renovations. "Division we had for our dining room was achieved. We had cabinetry and bookshelves in our dining room that were replaced by curio cabinets, and totally repainted to match our furniture. US pro painting did a wonderful job with flawless painting, reinstallation of lower cabinets and installation of new curio glass cabinets. JR, the owner, was very cooperative, and provided photos at each step of the renovation, since we were away during that time. If we have a painting or renovation project, we will use them again."

Was fair with pricing and his men started Monday morning. He went above and beyond. He even helped me paint an additional ceiling ( that was not included in the original quote)and stained a railing (because he thought it would look better) at no extra charge. "We recently moved into an older home that was in need of painting and major renovations. While we were deciding on the extent of our kitchen renovation, we hired Mike and his team (especially Eddie) to fully paint the interior. They were the lowest bid of the four competitive bids we received, and the quality of their work was superb. The trim work was clean, the work was done on time and on budget, and their workers were punctual and communicative. They even put a fourth coat of paint on walls that needed it, without being asked. They also provided excellent advice about kitchen renovating and removal of a load-bearing wall. Their bid for this project was about 25% higher than a competing bid, and we chose the lower bid. *THIS WAS A MISTAKE.* In contrast to the work with Mike, the lower bidder has been a nightmare to work with, there have been significant budget overruns, and we are currently about two months behind on a two month project. It turns out the quality of general contractor matters a great deal to the renovation experience, and based on the work that we did do with him, we believe we would have been far better off using Mike and paying slightly more. Next time we'll do that."

"I highly recommend using Scott Curtice for any renovation project no matter how complex it is. We bought a house that was over a hundred years old that had not been renovated for decades. Starting from the planning stage, Scott was wonderful about redesigning the house in order to open up the space and bring it into a more modern look. He spent several sessions reworking his plan always taking into account our needs and desires. Once the actual renovation began, we ran into a number of complex structural issues with the house itself. No matter what obstacle came up, Scott and his team were able to find solutions. His team was efficient in their work and they were all always reliable. In fact, many of our neighbors were astounded that all subcontractors worked on the home daily and that they actually were busy the entire time they were at our house. In addition, the lines of communication between ourselves and Scott, as well as his subcontractors, were always open. They kept us abreast of the project's updates and always made suggestions for ways to improve the work for aesthetics and/or cost savings ideas. Scott’s work was beautiful and he and his crew paid attention to every detail. The majority of the house required a gut renovation and it came out exquisite. Even after the job was complete, he was always available for questions. I would highly recommend using them for any job you have."

"A little late here. Bruno made a purchase from my business and I helped him with the install. I was impressed with him as a person and hired him and his crew to do some remodeling at my shop. My wife and I then decided it was finally time to do our kitchen and we now had our contractor. This was early/mid 2021 during the nightmare disruptions in supply chain. Bruno came over and completely designed the renovation of our 1940â s kitchen. He immediately got us in touch with cabinet, counter and appliance suppliers and everything came together seamlessly. The process was incredibly coordinated and organized as this was a major project, we even added a few other projects along the way without any wrinkles. The room completely gutted to the studs and expanded so it was a major project. The quality of work and professionalism still amazes me 2 years later and I still walk into our kitchen 2 years later and itâ s still breathtaking. This is an award winning project that is magazine worthy. Finally, at the end of each day when they leave they leave your area so clean you wouldnâ t even know that they were their working hard all day."
