"Perfect. They were able to walk me through a diagnostic evaluation of the appliance prior to them coming out to see if I needed a repair or new version."

"We purchased a prepaid "fix all broken applianced deal" on Angie's List.   We had to purchase the parts but the fee took care of their time on two visits.  The gentlemen who evaluated the appliances was thorough and even gave some suggestions for the dishwasher to help it clean better.  The parts were ordered and they arrived in a few days and they came back out and installed.  I would definitely use again - informed, polite and honest - all the things you look for in appliance repair. <br />"

"<p>Hi Tech Duct Cleaning consisting of Aaron and Kyle arrived at the appointment time.  Both of them were very professional and cleaned up after the work.  They were receptive to our questions and explained in detail what they would be doing.  All the register covers were cleaned and replaced in the appropriate outlet.   We would highly recommend High Tech Duct Cleaning to anyone.</p> <br />"

"Went well. Technicians need to be trained to perform safety procedures for appliances maintenance checks. Making sure appliances being worked on are properly functioning and safe to use for customer. The customer should not be telling or begging technicians to perform safety checks on appliances. More training is needed please. Thank you for your service."

"He did all that the computer said he should. Replaced internal parts and both computer panels all his efforts could not get the appliance working. The refrigerator was declared unrepeatable by Samsung and I am receiving a settlement warranty claim.  Victor showed a lot of concern for us.  He is a good man."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in West-Harrison, IN

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
