"Contacted Baker Roofing by phone to schedule a visit for an insurance paid re-roof. Salesman, David Frawley, responded promptly. He met with us, provided a detailed scope of work based on the insurance information that we had previously provided to him. We set up a tentative time frame for the start of the work. Due to weather, we had a few restarts but the Project Manager, Mark Chasse, was on top of it and kept us up-to-date and stayed in touch. He called to discuss where the shingles, the dumpster, and the work trailer could be staged during the time they would be at out house. Mark was on the job for most of the install.The installers worked hard and were focused. No nonsense or fooling around with this team. We had bushes and expenses trees, propane tanks and 3 large A/C units around the perimeter of the house. Baker made sure that nothing was damaged. They walked the perimeter with a giant magnet for nails, picked up trash and left at dusk. I requested they return the next day in the daylight to pick up some remaining trash and nails, which they willingly did. The gutter installer was scheduled by Baker and he returned on Monday to complete the job with the gutters. They did a beautiful job. We were very happy from the beginning contacts with David  all the way to the end with Mark Chasse. Great Company, stands by their work. Granted, this was an insurance job, but we interviewed several roofers. This company hand nails your roof. Even the employees tout how happy they are working at Baker.  We would wholeheartedly recommend Baker Roofing to others. It was important to us to have a local roofer in case of any issues or concerns and Baker came highly recommended. We are so very glad we chose them. Let me also say that everyone that I spoke with on the phone whose names I can't recall were all very nice. Customer Service was A+. "The first time was good. They set traps for mice and came back multiple times to remove the traps. They also installed new vents to prevent mice from getting in. But since then, their reliability has gone way down hill. We recently scheduled an appointment for a termite inspection and spray around the house, but they never showed up for the appointment, and they never called. We tried to call back to find out why and possibly reschedule, but the phone representative said that she didn't know why they didn't come but that someone would call us shortly (within the next 20 minutes). No one ever called. We called back the next day and she told us that someone would call us back again, but still no call back."

"Roof Genie inspected our roof and determined that we had significant hail damage. They contacted our insurance company, filed all the necessary paperwork, met with the adjustor and then completed the work. We were shown several samples but they were not exactly what we wanted. They kept finding samples for us to view until we found one we liked. They never rushed us, or pressured us in anyway. They were very responsive to our needs and treated us with up most respect and professionalism. The crew was very professional and efficient. They worked tirelessly without stopping, took great care with our house, lawn and landscaping. They kept the work site very clean and orderly and when they were done you would not know they had been there. <br />"

"When making the appointments I was always clear that I wanted the out of place shingle addressed and confirmed I would not need to be home for the visit. Scheduling got rained off 3 times (nothing they could do about that), but I had to follow up with them to reschedule. The last time I called to reschedule, I was told that the service had been completed and the result was “no shingles were out of place & they could not get access to the rear of the property, as it was fenced.” That's it! I eventually talked with the technician responsible for the visit who informed me: 1. He did not actually visit but sent someone else 2. They will not open a gate as they are concerned about dogs and liabilities (really…. & the gate was open that day)! 3. He was unaware this was an angieslist tune up and when he realized that, he stated the roof was too steep to qualify and that's why they did not go on the roof The difficulties scheduling, level of communication and the technician’s story did not make me feel comfortable continuing to work with them and we agreed they would refund the “deal”. The management team was then very responsive and professional and the deal was refunded immediately. I am now getting another angieslist contractor to look and quote for the repair. I did not believe the claim that my roof is too steep to qualify for the deal. It does not look anything special, it is the same as all the others in our neighborhood and contractors have walked on mine and neighbors before. BUT from accurate measurement in the attic, I confirmed it is an 8-12 roof which does not qualify for any roof deals on angieslist. Before purchasing any roof tune up deal, I would recommend members go into their attic and measure the rise for a horizontal run to confirm their roof is within deal specifications (6 inches rise for 12 inches of horizontal travel)."

"We hired DH Construction about 2.5 years ago to reside the entire house, new roof, trim work etc.  Since that time we have had DH Construction out a couple of times to address minor issues. One that was created by HVAC service and Brian's guys came out replaced the siding and a couple small pieces of trim at no cost to us! <br /> The latest was to repair some water damage above the garage door created by a piece of flashing not positioned correctly. I contacted Brian and emailed a few pictures showing the issue. We scheduled a date and time that Brian and his team would meet with us. After seeing the issue and the cause his team went to work resolving the problem at no cost to us. "<p>This contractor is every woman's dream.  I work full time, and every day I came home to more progress and no mess!  They clean up after themselves each and every day, install barrier curtains at all entries into other parts of your home.  Construction debris left outside is picked up within a day or so.  They bring a Porta-Jon to your property, so no one is using your private bathrooms.  Very few days passed without some work being done on the project.  The estimate did not include unexpected rot around our four kitchen windows.  Drew Devine, the project manager, brought a window company expert to our house and, after determining what brand and style of replacement windows we wanted, gave us an accurate estimate for the windows and labor.  This was the only change order to our original estimate.  Drew mistakenly assumed we wanted windows with grilles to match the remaining windows in our home.  We did not because we use plantation shutters in our kitchen windows and had removed the grilles from the old windows.  He ordered the windows with grilles, but immediately fixed the problem by ordering replacements and not charging us for the mistake.  He admitted that he should have asked.  A few minor mistakes were made during the three-month process but, in every instance, Andrew Roby bent over backward to rectify the errors and satisfy us with the end result.  Charles Elkins, the executive superintendent, even took my nineteen-year-old plantation shutters to his personal property and spray painted them to look brand new.  He installed new hardware and saved us hundreds of dollars by doing so. </p> <p><br /></p> <p>I can't say enough about the quality of work done by this contractor.  You may get a lower bid, but you will not find the quality or level of customer satisfaction anywhere else.  My husband has always done our remodeling projects since he built our house in 1981, so he was very, very particular about the standard of construction and painting.  Even he was impressed!  The carpentry was superb!  Rob installed sills and trim that totally changed the look of my kitchen and made it look incredibly nicer!</p> <p><br /></p> <p>This contractor remodeled my boss?s kitchen last year, so I hired them on her recommendation.  I have my dream kitchen as a result!</p> <br />"
