"I woke up at 3:00AM on 2-4-26 and found the heat was off and it was 60 degrees in my home. I attempted to relight the furnace pilot light myself without sucess. I then called Restanos Heating at 8:00AM and the pleasant receptionist scheduled a visit for the same day. I received a message from Restano employee Kevin Temoff that he had arrived at 9:39AM the same day. I told him the problem with the pilot light and also I had broken off the pilot light controller button. Kevin truly is the kindest and most helpful repair person I think I have ever come across especially in a 20 degree outside situation. He immediately was able to turn on the pilot light, but said that the thermo coupler was bad which he replaced, as well as the pilot light controller. He then took his portable vaccuum cleaned out the inside and outside furnace debride. Kevin was so pleasant. Always smiling. The bill was very appropriate for all the time and all the work he did. "Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"Troy arrived within the time frame stated by his wife. His wife informed me that there was a $95 charge to arrive and $30 to make the repair, plus parts. He quickly assessed the problem. He called his parts source and then quoted me the price of the part. He left my home for the part and arrived approximately 1 hour later. He quickly installed the new part and checked the operation of the washer. Once convinced all was in working order, he provided me with and emailed, itemized bill. I was impressed enough to refer my daughter to call him for a refrigerator repair the next day, which he also efficiently repaired to my daughter's satisfaction."
