"<p>We were getting a vacant home ready to sell that had been occupied by a tenant with a pet and small child for 6 years,  We thought we may have to replace the carpet, as it was stained in quite a few spots and had issues with bunching in several areas that had become loose from the carpet strips. Jeff from Rug Bug gave us an estimate in mid-July, but advised that we wait on the carpet cleaning until the very last thing before we listed the house for sale, so that any other repairs/cleaning/painting was done prior to the rug cleaning.  We called back 2.5 months later to schedule the cleaning, and Rug Bug honored the original estimate price $110 for cleaning and $170 for stretching the carpet.  The carpet looked AWESOME and we did not have to replace it as we originally had thought.  We were VERY pleased with their service from start to finish (and, a "shout out" to Mary in the front office, who was wonderful to deal with, as well!) and we're already planning to use them again to clean the carpets in our own house.</p> <br />"

"We went in not knowing what we wanted. Steve was very helpful with product choices. He came out to measure and made recommendations. He gave us an estimate and when we weren't quite ready to fund the project he said he would keep our information. Sure enough 1 year later we contacted him and he still had our original estimate with all of the products we wanted. Once the project was started, Dimitri and his son were amazing and put in very long days until the job was done. They were very meticulous and did an outstanding job. "David, a salesman for Simas Floors, visited my home before the work was done to see exactly what my hardwood floors needed to be pretty again.  He is very personable and professional.  Jay, Chris, and Robert, who refinished my hardwood floors, did an excellent job; they were prompt, professional, thorough, and stirred up an incredibly small amount of dust.  They explained the advantages of using a water or an oil-based finish; I opted for a water-based polyurethane because a catalyst can be added to the last coat (in this case, the fourth coat) that will extend the life of the finish to 25-40 years.  Although I could have hired someone else at a lower cost, I am confident that I now have the best refinish money can buy, and I won't be moving the furniture out of the rooms for the rest of my life!"

"<p><br /></p> <p>We used Opfer ten years before.  Because of good results, we went back to them.  Pulled up carpet in dining room and step down living room.  They were prompt and completed the work in four days.  Hint:  They gave me the baseboard to paint - it was a time and backsaver to paint on the bench and not along the floor!  I had a nick in one of the alarm wires along the baseboard - I found it and spliced the cut wire.  They were working in a door opening and the door fell over and cracked in half.  He went out and fitted a new door in less than 3 hours.  I like the new floor and the selection at the showroom.  </p> <br />"
