My wife (a Property Manager) and I over the years have become very experienced with Contractors involving home remodeling repair & construction. After obtaining a couple of quotes on our project. I met Chris Palyan from Newhaus Roofing & Construction. Chris Came to our home. Got on the roof, and also inspected from the attic. This was going to be a large project. Including removal & reinstallation of dozens of solar panels and removal of the original concrete tiles. We had been ignoring our known roof leaks for a long time. Southern California droughts allowed us to keep delaying the roof replacement. Those decisions did cost us dearly. YES we knew better. Chris provided a very complete quote. Including excellent products to be used. In our case anticipating damage under the tiles. Chris included in his proposal identified costs for correction as it was uncovered. "I hired Home Renew 360 for attic insulation installation, wood trim repairs and replacements due to termite infestation. Aiden was the project manager for this project. Aiden was polite, friendly and made my family and I feel like he was looking out for our best interest, which was appreciated. Originally we were looking to only have the attic insulation installation done since it was not up to code and Home Renew 360 came up with the lowest bid. However, termite damage was found in the attic and along the wood trim. So I ended up having them treat the attic for termites and repairing and/or replacing the wood trim that were damaged by termites. Once that was completed, they painted the wood trim and completed the attic insulation. There were different teams working on each part of the project and Aiden always communicated the status of the project, which was appreciated as well. The workers were always on time each day and they completed the work to my satisfaction. The only reason why I gave Home Renew 360 four stars instead of five was because after the project was completed, we discovered that both my brother's car and my father's car had a nail in their tires. We were not sure if it was due to the team who performed the wood trim repairs or from team who did the attic insulation installation. Hopefully next time those guys would inspect the areas they worked around to make sure not to leave anything behind that would cause damage to the client's property."

"West Roofing came to us on the strong recommendation of our neighbors who had used him for two different complex roofing jobs on older houses. Joe gave us a fast turn around and started work within days after we signed our contract. His communication with clients excellent. He took time to review our concerns and explained everything clearly which was reflected in his contract. He was easy to reach and a joy to work with. I want to add that Joe was honest and forthcoming in his bid. He told us that there would be no surprise fees or extras once his crew started working on our house, and he kept to that agreement. I also want to share that he understands the aesthetics of older homes and works with you to restore your roof so it honors and improves those historic qualities. West Roofing came exactly when they said they would. They used laser leveling to repair sags and restore the slope and the rotted sub-roof as well as added a very needed additional drain. They installed all new scuppers and flashing as well. The crew worked tirelessly through a heatwave and completed the job on time. They were conscientious, pleasant and always gracious. I'm not sure you could really ask for anything more. Joe followed up with us to make sure that everything met our expectations and provided us with everything we need to get our LADWP Cool Roof program rebate. So far we have recommended West Roofing to two of our friends."
