"My experience with this company unfortunately was not what I expected. I was blamed for every single thing that went wrong (which some was but, in my opinion not all), even suggested I asked my husband questions, made me feel like I was back in the 1950s. The services I hired were a pot filler and gas line plumbing installs. The pot filler I purchased, and he reviewed prior to did not fit, had to be altered and only has about a quarter of an inch before you hit the microwave. Once he put in place the faucet the dry wall was pushed in/damaged. He said he would so kindly give me a quote to repair, I was over it and asked him to please cancel and exit my home. I called the company afterwards to try and find some sort of resolution/middle ground but the phonecall was just a lot of back and forth. He did offer at the very end to have come out and move the filler (which will cause the dry wall to need repairs again) and finish installing the stove. In the meanwhile, I am left with no stove, damaged dry wall and an eyesore for a pot filler. Service tech was very nice but some attention to detail could be improved. The story is much longer but to save the time and effort, I was extremely disappointed in my experience, and I do not recommend the company."

But after I had lined him up for the work and sent a deposit, he arrived the morning of the work and told me he is generally retired and doesn't do the work himself. He then told me that the person he had lined up to actually do the work had decided that he didn't want to work on the project. That put me in a real bind from a timing perspective."

I requested an experienced technician and scheduled a mid-March install, trusting their promise: "But no matter how big or small the project is, we can do it for you. We have many clients with a checklist of jobs, and when you schedule a House Doctor handyman, they arrive on time and complete the job with promptness and precision. We won?t waste your time." Instead, delays, a wrong door order, and conflicting measurements left me confused. I was told the owner would refund our deposit and cancel the project, with no explanation. With rising tariffs and home repair season, our door install maybe pushed to late summer. I cannot in good conscience recommend House Doctor. It is now May and we're forced to look for another provider. The prolonged delay and vague communication have forced me to seek other vendors, incurring higher costs as tariffs raise material prices. "
