"Words can barely describe the excellent job done. If there was an A+ rating, we would give it. We were concerned, as we have many trees that dumped a *ton* of leaves on both our front and back yard. They showed up as promised, and went right to work. They edged all of the plant beds, putting fresh mulch in them (which, by the way, did not have that "mulch smell" that is sometimes off-putting.) They cleaned out a great deal of pesky ivy which threatened to choke off the plants in front. They worked efficiently and removed all of the leaves and branches from the property, so that they did not sit in bags at the street until the next pickup. All of our big pine and fir trees in the front and side yards were trimmed to an even level across the entire front side of the house. Even the leaves on the deck, deck chairs and picnic table were cleaned up--totally unexpected but an excellent finishing touch. Finally, they mowed the lawn for a final cut for the year. All of the lawn ornaments and garbage cans etc. were replaced with care and neatly. There was no stray mulch or loam on the lawn, walkway, or driveway. Even more important, were the things that they did not do. We had wondered if they would fill in around our new driveway. They would have done it if we had insisted, but instead, after edging, explained and showed how given the level of the yard, it would just make a mess. We were glad they talked us out of it. I can only imagine some contractors who would have blindly followed our instructions--and gladly taken our money--but not Friends. For a large job such as ours, it was seven hours from start to finish, including a pause when they had to empty their truck when it was full of leaves. It may seem like a long duration, but they were working hard the whole time. The best part was that their working did not disrupt our Saturday--you barely noticed that they were here. Even our dog who does not like loud noises or workers in general, was not disturbed by their work. All in all, we would hire them again for a Spring cleanup and possibly other services."
