"We've been in our Lakewood home over 27 years and finally made the decision to put our "60's kitchen out to pasture. We had three good contractors bid for this project. We were most impressed by Ben of Creative Home Remodeling Group. His enthusiasm, attention to detail and follow-thru remained constant from concept to completion. Ben overperformed and under promised. His crew of company contractor specialists have been with him for years, and their rapport and communication showed in the finished project. He was on site and/or in phone contact with them and us constantly. They finished ahead of time with Ben staying on task through each stage and to final inspection. No reflection on Ben or his company, but us being a first- time user of a contractor's services, we were a little green about the process, the quotation and what to expect. It is often said to add 20% to the bid for unexpected costs. There were two legitimate additions that couldn't be anticipated. They were fully explained and understood. It is important for anyone doing this, to make good notes and keep in mind what the bidder is contracting to provide and what your responsibilities will be. Ben made this clear from the start-nothing hidden. Many items required us to go to the vendor, choose, and to pay directly, outside the bid parameters. These items-specifically: the vinyl flooring, the quartz counter tops and backsplash, sink, faucet and disposal being the main ones. For the most part, only the highest expense (the cabinets) was factored into the quotation. My wife and I would use Ben and Creative Remodel again and recommend him and his Studio City company without reservation"

"We worked with Nathan to remodel our first house this year. As first-time renovators and first-time home owners, it was a daunting task. Nathan made us feel very well taken care of he has a strong attention to detail, and we felt we knew what we were getting throughout the project. We settled on a price up front for all of the labor, with the promise that even if things came up during the project, Nathan would take care of the complications without changing the price. He kept that guarantee. We ended up expanding our job to include other work, but all of the initial work was done at the promised price with no surprises. We are now living in our renovated house, and we love it. I couldn't imagine organizing such a huge project myself, and we're deeply grateful to have had someone as reliable as Nathan taking care of everything!"

"After several long years of designing and permitting our home remodel during the pandemic, we were searching for a good contractor to build out our remodel and second story addition. Avi and David were wonderful; very thorough in explaining the process, answering all of our questions, and settling on a price that was reasonable and within our budget. During the building process, David was very responsive, available, and receptive to changes and last minute decisions made along the way. The project took longer than anticipated and there were some unexpected setbacks, but David and Avi worked quickly to fix issues and keep the project moving forward. At the end of the project they were very responsible about making sure we were satisfied with every last detail before completing the project. Everything went very well.  The job took a little longer than expected (estimate was about 3 weeks for the whole job, but it took almost 4).   I was okay with that because it was a very big job, and I had a feeling it may take a little longer anyways.  I am happy that they didn't rush through anything just to meet a deadline. 

Gino was great to work with and gave me many great ideas for tile colors and designs, as well as colors and designs for the custom vanity and countertop.  He also made sure that the different specialist crews started their respective phases of the project on schedule and ensured that there was seamless transition from one phase of the project to the next.  The cost of the project may seem like a lot, but that is because it is a very big bathroom.  I also requested to add a few things such as more lighting as the project went on, so that added a little to the cost.  I gave the pricing a B instead of A because Gino went with a higher quality/higher cost lighting whereas I would have been okay with a lower cost lighting option from Home Depot or Lowe's.  That isn't a big deal though and is partially my fault since I could have done my own research and instructed him to go with the lower cost option.  However Gino is all about delivering a very high quality product, so his choice of lighting is consistent with that. 

Gino also makes himself available to rectify any lingering issues that may arise after the job is complete.  One example is that the water wasn't going down the drain of the shower properly the first time I used the shower, however when I brought it up to him, Gino came out and took care of the issue the same day.  It turned out to be a little debris blocking the drain from the tiling, which had to be cleared out, so not a big deal.  That gave me assurance that should anything else arise (I doubt anything will) in the future that he will come back and take care of it.    

Overall I am very satisfied with the job.  Everything was very well planned out, the communication from Gino was outstanding, and although the job took slightly longer, that wasn't a big deal because the excess time ensured increased quality.  I would recommend Gino and his crew for any job, big or small!

"We interviewed several contractors for a remodel of our downstairs and decided to use KN Remodeling. This was a daunting remodel but Nathan guided us through it with his knowledge of the process as well as assisting with design, selection of material and the crew are very professional and pleasant. Our remodel included: kitchen, laundry room, hallways, entryway, dining and living room, staircase and master bath. We added on a few extra items - living room fireplace and I hope I can figure out how to post photos of all the work. We are very pleased and if we get a chance will work with KN again.
