"While the technician who came out did the job well, the communication was very poor. After the first visit, he said he would need to get a part and come back. He offered to come back the next day, but I unfortunately was not available. I asked if he could come Thursday and he agreed. On Thursday, I received a text confirmation, and then he never showed up. I told him we would have to reschedule. On Friday he texted me that his phone died and I guess that is why he could not come. He said he could come that evening or Saturday, but neither of those times worked, so we settled on Monday at noon. On Monday, I received a text to confirm for noon. He showed up at 1 pm. When I opened the door, I greeted him and asked him to come in. He came in without a word or any acknowledgment. In an effort to be friendly, I asked how his day was going, and he said, oh good. That is it. Nothing about missing the appointment or any sort of apology. I went to work on other items around the house, and he finished up. Finally, there had been quite a lot of lint built up in the dryer that he had removed. While he did put it all into a pile, he did not even offer to get a broom to clean it up. I appreciate that my dryer is fixed now, but do not think I will hire this company in the future."

"I first used A & R to repair a washing machine that wouldn't drain properly. The were very prompt sourced the problem quickly and fixed it with no fuss. Turned out to be a sock stuck in a trap. I called them again to repair a tenant's dryer a few weeks later and the problem was a broken door switch that was repaired in less then 20 minutes. Will definitely use A & R again, they are polite, professional and reasonable. My only issue is that they were actually early for both appointments. Not that this is a problem; however, I have to meet them at the repair site, so it made me late !"
