"We recently moved into an older home that was in need of painting and major renovations. While we were deciding on the extent of our kitchen renovation, we hired Mike and his team (especially Eddie) to fully paint the interior. They were the lowest bid of the four competitive bids we received, and the quality of their work was superb. The trim work was clean, the work was done on time and on budget, and their workers were punctual and communicative. They even put a fourth coat of paint on walls that needed it, without being asked. They also provided excellent advice about kitchen renovating and removal of a load-bearing wall. Their bid for this project was about 25% higher than a competing bid, and we chose the lower bid. *THIS WAS A MISTAKE.* In contrast to the work with Mike, the lower bidder has been a nightmare to work with, there have been significant budget overruns, and we are currently about two months behind on a two month project. It turns out the quality of general contractor matters a great deal to the renovation experience, and based on the work that we did do with him, we believe we would have been far better off using Mike and paying slightly more. Next time we'll do that."

"Any construction can be stressful, but with Liam and his team I was in good hands. I had some upgrades to one bathroom and a tub to shower conversion in the master bathroom. Liam was clearly very knowledgeable, and his workmanship in both bathrooms was impeccable. He answered all my questions, had great suggestions and was very responsive whenever I needed to contact him. Being an architect, I drew up the plans (half ikea parts and half custom) and got a reasonable quote from Tighe. Tighe exceeded my expectations. "This was my second time working with Diorio Builders and again they were stellar! We hired them to finish our large unfinished basement into a rec room, bedroom, bar, and bathroom. This was a big project that covered a lot of areas and Derek and James excelled at every stage. They were always straightforward, polite, and very hard working. They wrote up a detailed contract describing the entire project in phases so everyone's expectations were clear, and kept me updated as to their progress through each phase. They brought issues they found to my attention right away along with ready options for how to fix them. Their attention to detail is superb - their team tiled almost a thousand square feet and there isn't a single one out of place. They have an excellent eye for aesthetics and offered ideas when I was unsure how to integrate the existing structure including a gorgeous and functional knee wall with trim around the edge of the new bedroom, and elegant columns enclosing the rec room supports. They always offered ideas without any pressure or upselling. I was very impressed and happy we picked them and highly recommend their work."
