"Signed up for the special through Angie's list.  It took a few more days to get scheduled than I expected.  It said they would contact you within 2 days and technically they did, but they only asked for a phone number after two days and it was 3 days after that before someone called.  The guy that called and left a message on a Saturday afternoon sounded like he was a bar, music in the background and could not understand him.  It sounded like he said it would be two weeks, but they will call again to confirm.  Luckily they had an opening and when then called back early the next week, they asked if they could do it that day.  That was great news.  We have a few large Maple trees so there was tons of seeds on the roof.  When I got home a large amount of them were dumped into my flower beds.   I am not sure if they removed any from the premises, certainly didn't look like it.  The company that did the service the prior year had them piled on the sidewalk which was easy clean up compared to this. It probably took more time to clean the beds than what they saved me by doing the roof.  Certainly do not recommend them for this service.
Companies like this usually outsource this service to temp workers so I am not sure if it is reflective off their main business.

"It was a little hard to schedule since it had to do with my insurance company. My schedule was also a problem.They pointed out a lot of things when they were up the roof. Getting the work done was a little longer and difficult. My presence was also important because by the look of things he would have done the roof wrong."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"This was a small $3K 1st floor roofing job. * CK was the first to inspect the job * CK was the first to bring by the 2 types of roofing tiles in the current Cottage Red color. * CK provided a detailed quote with warranty. * CK listen to my current use of my cottage and did not up lift their quote with items that I did not need. (roof peek vents for a cottage the was closed 9 month's of the year) The replacement vents were appropriate and were less expensive. * CK was not good at communicating the start date. I found out when the roofing tiles arrived and I had to call CK to fine out the job was starting in 2 days. * Clean up was complete with all nails and old roofing removed. * I did have 5 other roofers who promised to quote but never showed up to the job site. I would use CK again for my 2nd floor roof when it needs to be done."
