"Ryan, Brevin, and Jacob installed a generator at my house today. They were extremely professional, extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions ( and felt like I was annoying them lol) and Ryan took the tie to answer all of them with kindness. They looked like there were having fun doing it too lol. "I hired this company because of the good reviews, but I had a terrible (and weird) experience. Here’s the short version: If you want to overpay for bad quality service and then have them actively duck your calls and avoid you when asked for accountability, Westborn Electric is the company for you. In February, I hired this company to complete the electrical work for a city inspection. The service was very expensive, but I hired them because of their guaranteed quality work. I’m an amenable customer, and really I just wanted the job done right. Among the work they completed, I had them replace the wired interconnected smoke alarms in the home, which they purchased and installed. Shortly after, the alarms began malfunctioning creating false alarms nearly every day (very disruptive and unsafe). When I called the company to have them come out to look at them given the guarantee of their work, they allegedly did so, but they never followed up to explain what issues they had found. I called this company over 10 times asking if someone could please call me back to understand if they had found an issue or what the next steps were. I never received a call back. The weirdest part is when the unhelpful receptionist would actually answer my calls, she would apologize profusely promise “I’ll have the electrician call you today.” This led to more confusion on my part as I expected every day they would call back, but they never would. I really would have preferred they told me they were unavailable for the job so I could stop wasting my time. Again, I called for almost two weeks straight, left many voicemails, and even spoke with the receptionist who promised someone would return my call. No call back. In totality, this was a VERY expensive project I hired them to do. On top of that, the fix was relatively simple, but they chose to duck my calls instead. A simple civil conversation would have been nice. The job was not done right and the company was unwilling to take responsibility in order to remediate the issue. Finally, I hired someone else to come fix the issue. The electrician I hired confirmed the smoke alarms they had sold me and installed were indeed defective. This company is definitely an “AVOID AT ALL COSTS” story I’ll be telling for a while."

"CREATIVE ALMOST CAUSED OUR HOUSE TO BURN DOWN BECAUSE THEY DON'T LISTEN. We insisted on Ground Fault Circuits because of the obvious safety feature when something overloads. Instead they just installed regular plugs and to no one's surprise, we had an electrical fire in our brand new kitchen a couple weeks later that would have never happened if they had installed all GF as we asked multiple times. We also had to deal with fraudulent billing and extra invoices that were sent to us with no explanation, which we wasted more time disputing. Almost every single contractor was hours late or didn't bother to show. . Two of them asked if they could use our bathroom and both urinated all over the floor. Another two yelled misogynist comments while they blasted music at top volume without even asking if it was okay. Their "Mudder Guy" is the laziest slob I've ever seen. He only worked barely 3 hours a day because in HIS exact words: "I'm not a morning person." He was obviously not a "take responsibility for cleaning up my messes guy" either. He slopped drywall crap all over our house and down every single one of our basement stairs, which took over two weeks for us to clean. US, not him. Another guy knocked down the wrong wall because he refused to look at the remodel plans that were right in front of his face. The same clown threw out our brand new garbage disposal into the garbage (or he took it, I honestly don't know which). City inspections were delayed or failed because of other errors that were made with the cabinet installation. The people that installed the cabinets didn't even install the right components and our inspection failed again. There were so many other mistakes made that I can't even remember them all, and getting anyone at Creative to return a phone call is next to impossible, unless you're ok with a brief text message that doesn't even answer your question (although the owner sure came here fast when he wanted his money). They had our plans in November 2022 and were still trying to get a kitchen remodel finished in spring 2023. Of course if Jerry does bother to respond to this review, he'll respond the same way he did to every one of our concerns: either "that's not my employee" that did that, or "that's a contractor, they don't work for me." He fails to comprehend that customers are not going to remember the names of any of the subcontractors he assigned to do work. His company is the only one that clients will remember."
