"We got three bids from architects, because we wanted our addition to blend with our existing house. Jason Chouinard was the only architect who came prepared with measurements he pulled up on the tax assessor's site. He came knowing our setbacks, our lot dimensions and where our existing house sat on the lot.  He listened to our explanation of what we wanted and then we sat in the kitchen talking about more specifics to the addition. While in the kitchen, he recommended thinking about incorporating a few more changes in our existing home--relocating a half bath to a better spot and opening up walls to create a great room. He also recommended extending our back patio for a better outdoor space. We liked his ideas and incorporated them into our plans. We were very impressed with his ideas. He not only gave us what we wanted, but gave us what we didn't know we wanted, but now have, and LOVE! <br /> His prices were competitive and included all construction documents. He was punctual, responsive and very conscientious. We hit a few snags during the construction process, of course, because when you open up walls and ceilings, unexpected items arise. Sketch it out in pencil and make some measurements in the area you are planning to have the patio cover constructed. This will give you and the patio cover supplier a better understanding of your idea. <br /> -An experienced patio cover representative will make helpful suggestions and advise against impractical features. <br /> -Check to see if building permits or other municipal requirements have to be met and documented (including HOA's). <br /> -Have a realistic budget. For labor intensive projects, it is common to spend 1/3 on materials and 2/3 on labor. <br /> -Check the references of potential suppliers, including their longevity. <br /> -Get everything in writing, and get at least two competing bids for the same project. <br />"

"Everyone we worked with from the initial estimate, to order, to scheduling, to installation was friendly, helpful and accurate. We received bids from 5 different vendors and Liberty's price was right in the middle, which is ideal as far as I'm concerned. Everything was timely and was executed according to the original timeline they provided. The awnings themselves are well-made and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. There were several valance shape options and we love the Greek key valance we choose. Not sure if we had to pay to upgrade to the Sunbrella fabric or if that was all they worked with, but either way Sunbrella is the way to go with the Arizona sun!! Because I knew they were working with Sunbrella fabrics, I was confident the color selected would be an identical match to my patio furniture fabric. I would certainly do business with them again and will happily refer all family and friends! <br />"
