"I had gotten several estimates from different providers and Great Garage was competitive in price.  The other quotes also didn't include the automatic doors or the vinyl siding.  
Some of the plots in Berea are somewhat smaller than in other places, and many of the homes were built with only small, one-car garages.  Tom D'Amico was great.  He walked us through the process, figured how with a two-foot variance we could fit in a two-car garage and arranged the variance meeting with the city and attended it with us.  He was able to keep me informed through texts about where in the process we were, i.e. permits, drawings, etc.  He even set us up financing  with the county's low-interest HELP loans http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2009/08/cuyahoga_countys_subsidized_ho.html
Once the work started it went quickly.  A team removed our old garage one day.  The next day another team came out and removed the old concrete.  A few days of damp weather delayed the new concrete pour, but in a few days they came back and poured the concrete.  We had to wait for that to set before anything else happened.  But as soon as it set enough, another team hand-carried the materials and laid them out (the concrete hadn't set quite enough yet to bear the weight of vehicles).  The garage went up quickly.  Within a few days the siding and the door were added.
The only glitch was that the electrician had a family emergency, so he came in to hook up the electricity after the electric door had been installed.  When he came a few days later (which was fine with us) we found the electric door was not operating properly. Because there was no electricity available when the door was installed, the workers had no way to check their work.  I texted Tom about this and he responded immediately.  After coming to reprogram the doors himself, it turned out we still had problems to a day later he sent another team to replace the main part of the unit.  Everything works beautifully now  I would say that even this minor problem says a lot of good for the company.  They responded quickly and made good.
