"Al and his team were even better the second time around. Al remodeled a kitchen in our previous house and recently moved into a new house that also was sorely overdo for a major kitchen remodel. Fortunately, we didn’t have to look hard for a great contractor. We gave Al a call and he got the team together and we quickly had a detailed plan on what needed to be done and what it would cost. Once again, Al only works with the best subcontractors who are just as committed to making our vision a reality as he is. He also worked closely with our kitchen designer at RSI to get the layout planned perfectly, even during the demo when we discovered uneven walls making cabinet fitting more difficult than expected. Al has the experience and knowledge that the inevitable hiccups and surprises during demo of an old house don’t phase him. Problems with the subfloor under our old parquet only set them back a few hours to replace the boards. Raising a structural beam so it didn’t hang as low was similarly something that Al had no trouble knowing how to do. Al also has a very ‘customer is always right’ mentality, if we saw or noticed something not quite perfect, Al would get the subcontractors back to fix it. He never brushed even the littlest detail off. If it was a small detail for us, it was still a big detail for him. We hope to not have to do another kitchen for a while, but will definitely be working with Al for any future remodeling projects we have."

"GA Chott did a fantastic job with our full kitchen remodel and master bath remodel. We knew we wanted to take our time with such a large project scope. We met with Darryll, the owner, in the Fall of 2020 to go over our project details and get a quote. We wanted to knock down walls to open up our kitchen, so Darryll gave us the name of a reliable structural engineer that we could contact and determine if the walls were load bearing. Once the structural engineer gave us the OK we signed our contract with Darryll in January, 2021. Darryll was kind enough to keep his price quote from several months prior, even with material prices going up. We ordered our cabinets by March, with the expectation that the work would begin in June. Sure to their word, all of the cabinets and other materials arrived in time to begin the project in June. The Job Foreman James was wonderful to work with. He, and his crew arrived on time every day, and kept in touch with us about every detail. The kitchen project took about 6 weeks to complete. It was a big job, with walls being removed, new recessed lighting, and removing our popcorn ceiling. Once those tedious tasks were done the cabinets only took about a week to install, and then they hooked up all of our new appliances for us. The countertops were installed by Stone Trends, which is one of GA Chott's preferred contractors. Stone Trends was a little backed up so there was a bit of a wait on the countertops, but once they were installed GA Chott came back and finished our backsplash tile, and it looks fantastic. While waiting for the kitchen countertops GA Chott completed our master bath project within 1 week. They removed our old vanity, reconfigured our closet wall, and installed a new, larger vanity for us. They refinished our closet, installed a new door, installed new ceramic floor tile, and installed a new lighting fixture and a larger mirror in the bathroom, which we picked out. Between these 2 large scale projects GA Chott basically had everything finished in 7 weeks. I would highly recommend them for any home improvement project. I know we will for sure be using them again for future projects."

I found Gary and Kimberlin Construction here, and after reviewing the site, talking to Gary, and sharing the specifics of our situation, he and his team were the right folks to come in and help us out. The overall job took three days, and I'm extremely happy with the results. The floor feels much better when walking on it, and the squeaks and creaks have effectively been eliminated. Throughout the job Gary and his team were professional, always on time, and took the time to both listen to the info that I shard, as well as explained what exactly they were going to do as well as what they did. They worked in a safe manner while in our home, something that is so important given the situation with COVID. The price was quite reasonable for the work that was done, and if I had to do it all over again I would. I whole-heartedly recommend Kimberlin Construction for any work that you need done, and I will certainly be using them again as needed for other repair or remodeling projects."
