"Shelley and her team were quite knowledgeable and did an amazing job cleaning up, sanding, and refinishing my 60 year old wood floors. Quite honest and explicit about what could be expected in some areas sure to old damage. The only reason to knock off half a star is the quarter round, it doesn't quite match the floors and in some areas stands out. On the other hand, they did an amazing job matching some existing pine to my oak so we got a winner. The floors look absolutely lovely and i am quite happy Shelley was able to help this old home's character shine! I will have her back for more work later in other areas of the house."

I met with three different contractors to get ideas and proposals for my deck, and Mark was the only one that proactively followed up with regular updates and explanations for any delays out of his control (e.g., from suppliers). They were also very helpful in providing ideas and suggestions. Jake also went above and beyond: we had wood rot on our original deck after only 5 years, and Jake volunteered to figure out who supplied the original wood, went in person to meet with the supplier to understand why it would have rotted, and he sent me a warranty claim form and instructions from the supplier to get a reimbursement for the rotted wood! I’ve never worked with any service provider that’s provided that level of service. I highly recommend ITP Renovations."

"First trip, it was determined that my flooring was engineered product, and refinishing was a problem. They then sent out a different specialist who examined the flooring closely and told me they could try a refinishing, but there were no guarantees of success. I gave the go-ahead, and all 600 sq ft were sanded lightly, refinished, and done in one day. I am well satisfied with the results: floor looks great, and cost was way cheaper than replacement!"

"My husband and I hired Charles Smith from Smith Restorations & Repair to get some work done (inside and out) over 3 months from Feb - April of 2018. In total, Smith Restorations handled repairs to our tree house, built a new deck, which included some stone patio work, installed floors for our entire first floor, updated our 1/2 bath and remodeled my kitchen. HE DID ALL OF THIS IN TWO MONTHS. And it all looks fantastic! We just moved into our new home in August and spent some time thinking about what we wanted and Charles Smith was the perfect person to put our plan in place. Let me share why we hired Smith Restorations and why we continued to hire them. 1) Smith listens to what you want and gives you what you need, making every attempt to combine the two. I am not a contractor and Charles had much better ideas than I did for how to rearrange the kitchen. We went from thinking we had to move electrical panels and walls to a much simpler design which he believed would achieve the same end. It did. His ideas saved us tons of money. 2) He was the only person who came out and gave a care about our tree house. It was dangerous, needed to be dealt with and two other contractors came and stuck up their noses. 3) We were given options, some of which included sketches. There is more than one way to do things and he knows more than one way. Great good, better, best scenarios. 4) Smith allowed us to use our resources when we had them (I had a good electrician friend) and he did not look to mark-up workers that he brought in to drive up the price. 5) Smith cleans up and hauls away mess. Every day. Enough said. 6) Cost effective. Straightforward in materials and labor costs. 7) Smith Restorations went above and beyond for us and we just kept coming up with projects. Specific to the kitchen, it was small and cramped due to the placement of cabinets and an oversized island that served no function. Charles worked with us to measure the space, re-imagine the area and made some great suggestions as to products to purchase like flooring and tile. I was able to purchase the cabinets myself and maintain control of the design. He checked over everything before I ordered it, allowing me to take advantage of special financing, etc. He demoed the kitchen and installed the cabinets in just a few days. He was so meticulous in getting them aligned correctly and all the appliances moved with the plumbing into the right space. If we were up against a deadline for countertops, he would stay until it was done. The luxury vinyl floors that he recommended and installed have exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is truly transformed into the farmhouse kitchen we wanted and we could not be happier with the partnership we had with Charles to get this all done on time and on budget. "Forgot about my reservation, rescheduled, showed up 4 hrs late.  Did not want to come because they were overbooked but did when I insisted saying that it would be weeks before I could schedule the work to be done again.  Left my tile and hardwoods floors filthy.  The grout was clean but there was dirty water all over the place.  I mopped my floors but found that the chemicals or something in the water was hard to get up.  Ended up mopping several times before the film came off.  Felt a residue left in the carpet as well.  Yuck."
