"Handy Co. did such a great job my Wife moved out of the Master Bathroom and into the Guest Bathroom we had remodeled. The install consisted of gutting the bathroom, installing new tub/shower, new fixtures, new vanity, plumbing, marble 4x12 floors in a Chevron pattern, crown/base molding, and a frameless shower door. I had received several quotes on the bathroom and Mike was the best option (He also wasn't one of those painful sales presentations). He allowed us to purchase our own parts (if you have a wife you understand how important this is). We had our existing porch screened in with additional lighting added, added an extension our patio to include a fire pit, and had 2 new lighting fixtures installed in our kitchen. All the services were completed in a timely manner and correctly without rework. The project was completed within budget. "Our contact was Kayne London. He was very professional and very responsive. It was a difficult job in that a lot of the subroof needed repair and there had been a lot of prior leaks. And it is a flat roof. It is a 5 layer built-up roof process. It rained very hard after the first three layers and we did have some significant leaks. They had thought it would hold with the 3 layers but there were areas that did leak. They compensated to repair the area of new sheetrock that was damaged. They had also hit a stone wall and are replacing that. They have finished the built up roof and the warranty from the manufacturer is in the mail; what a relief to get to this point! They still have to complete the tile roof as the materials did not arrive as expected. They have generally been punctual, abut sometimes show up a day later than stated, but usually let us know what is going on. Kayne has checked in after other recent rains to make sure things are good and we are happy. He was very professional to work with which is immensely appreciated. <br />"

"<br>These guys were great! All the guys and the owner were very friendly and courteous. They fixed all the problems, except one that came back. We had a little trouble getting them to come back out, but that was mainly because they wanted to see it while it was actually raining… and then we had very little rain. They came back out today (during the rain), as promised, and seem to have solved the one issue (which was not due to their work but the previous roofer who had neglected to reshingle under our solar hot water panels). In addition, they will be replacing some of the flashing they previously installed, in one spot that looked "iffy," just be sure. How's that for service!  <br> <br>Great company and great guys. "I can't say enough about this crew. First, they power washed the house, the sidewalk, and the driveway.  The next day, they began removing storm windows, screens, and iron bars on the cellar windows, followed by two days of scraping and sanding.  They were very thorough;  they even repaired and/or replaced some of the rotting wood.  Then every wood surface got primer.  After the primer dried, they applied at least two coats of paint.  They were hardworking and meticulous, barely taking breaks.  Jose even painted places that were not on my original list, like the lattice work on our back porch (I had not included it because it was labor intensive), and the porch ceiling.  When the paint was dry, he cleaned the windows, screens, and storm windows before putting them back on. He takes pride in his work, and wants to make sure everything looks good.  Next year, we will have the inside of the house painted, and I wouldn't think of calling anyone else.  To address some of the negative reviews above, anyone who's ever worked with a contractor knows that they don't always come when they say they will, or they won't always return your calls. You just have to be persistent .  Jose is the best there is, people want him, and he's busy.  But he's worth the wait, and he's worth the price."
