They weren’t our cheapest option but their unique cost-plus process of contracting, clear & transparent labor rates and discounts saved us thousands on our projects. We have never seen a company operate in this manner, but it just made complete sense to us, and it works extremely well. Along the way we were a bit indecisive and made a few changes which added work to the original scope, increased our budget and timeline, however Douglas immediately shifted into another gear and was able to incorporate our changes within the original design. He is extremely honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable of his trade. His communication skills and integrity were second to none. I don’t know how he handles all the stress, but he makes it look easy. All team members and subcontractors were respectful of us and our home and a pleasure to work with as well. "Marsh contracting came in and took our 50+ year old bathroom and made it into a great, functional space. I wish I could explain the awfulness of the "before" situation they were facing. Tile and plaster 3 inches thick; square, heavy bathtub that need to be removed; galvanized steel pipes with years of corrosion blocking water flow. They had great suggestions for improvements and helped us stay within our budget while still taking care of the things that needed to be done. They were prompt and worked quickly; the only hiccup was on our side with a delivery issue, and they were able to work around it and keep the project rolling. Bob and his team were upfront with us on everything, and I felt that I had a clear idea of how the project was moving along, next steps, and the timeline for completion. Communication was never an issue, whether via email, phone, or text. And my super picky Father in Law has even complemented the great tile work!"

"Jason and Frank were the worst contractors I?ve ever dealt with. They took my money, did terrible work, damaged my flooring, and then abandoned the job. Jason (who said he was the owner) installed drywall himself, but the work was so bad I had to remove it and hire another contractor to redo everything. Even their own crew laughed at the quality of the work. When I asked them to fix it, they left. When I mentioned legal action, they promised a refund but only stalled and delayed. They wasted my time, cost me extra money, and caused unnecessary stress. I had to spend more time and money fixing problems they created instead of finishing the project as promised. They also ignored repeated requests to take responsibility and correct the damage. In my experience, they were incompetent and dishonest. Be very careful before hiring them, and don?t be fooled by the recent positive reviews?they appear manufactured and do not reflect the work I received."

"It was a steady process. Of course there were hiccups along the way, but with Renaissance & myself working as a TEAM on this project, everything was done & done well. I do believe that is KEY on any project, especially one of this size. I told Jamie at the beginning of the project that communication was VERY important to me. Jamie was quick to address any questions or concerns I had. He picked up my calls every time. I will hire Renaissance Restoration for all home improvements and/or updates."
