"We purchased this home on a Friday and decided earlier that week that the hardwood floors needed to be refinished before we moved in the following week. Allen stepped up and offered to do the job over the weekend. The house is nearly 100 years old and it looked like a previous owner tried to refinish the floors themselves and it showed. The rooms also have baseboard heat so it made the job a little more tricky. Allen was hoping that he'd be able to get a smooth finish and in the end, the floor looked 1000% better. "I can only say great things about JA Drywall. We had quite a complicated chimney repair. From the beginning of the process, this company stood out from all the others. Most companies did not return my calls. One did respond but never showed up to start work. The JA Drywall owner came to our initial appointment on time, evaluated the job and gave us a reasonable and fair estimate. The work crew then came on time and worked really hard for two days to repair the chimney. At each stage they kept us informed of progress. They did a wonderful job, kept the site clean and tidied up once job completed. On top of their excellent work, they are a team of friendly and courteous workers, who also took care of a few other things that needed attention. I would recommend this company to all who are looking for quality work by a friendly team at a reasonable price."

"Although they were not familiar with soundproofing techniques, once provided with the proper materials and instructions, John and Nick did a wonderful job! They spared no effort to follow directions to the letter, to produce the best possible results. As questions arose, we would discuss and agree on the best course of action given the requirements, as well as their extensive construction experience. Most times I did not inspect their work until the end of the day. Any concerns were brought to their attention the next morning, at which time they would address them immediately and satisfactorily, as needed. Although most home owners would not normally require the soundproofing techniques of this job, the professional attributes displayed would greatly benefit any general construction work. My only concern was that John did not provide a written estimate before starting, especially since minor changes were made to the requirements mid-stream. In the end, I was so satisfied with the results, I have already received an estimate for JJ Construction to remodel the rest of the basement space."

"Montco was one of 3 fence installers we had out to give an estimate on installing a vinyl privacy fence in our yard. Bill (the owner, I believe) came and one of the first things he said was that we should just do wire along the back of the yard instead of vinyl since there is already a wall of evergreen trees there. It would save us a big chunk of money (probably about 2K) and also make the yard feel less boxed in. He was the only one of the 3 contractors to suggest this and it made us feel like he actually cared. He listened to our concerns about keeping the fence as low as possible to keep the dogs in and was the only contractor who seemed fully confident in his ability to get the fence installed on a sizable incline without stepping the panels."
