"The experience was great.  It took one day.  There was minimal mess.  No heavy equipment involved.  We had this done in May and I waited over the summer to write a review.  So far things look great.  No signs of any settling or cracking issues.  Many friends have remarked how great this looks and some have had it done in our area as well. <br />"

"I got three different bids for the project and I did the stairs and the main area separately. If I combined the two lowest bids from both of those they met that, so I thought their price was fair. It was expensive, but I don't think that they were overpriced in any way. The gentleman who owns the business has been doing it for years and years and his son works under him. He clearly knows what he's doing and I have confidence in his abilities. I am a very particular person and there were a few areas that I wish they would've been a little more careful, but everyone who has seen the floors has thought they were absolutely fantastic. They did a very nice job, so in general I think they did a 98% good job. They've been very responsive. I had a tight timeline and they were able to fit me in where I wanted. We just had the Memorial Day holiday and they were finishing up the job and left some stuff at my place. I was kind of expecting it to be gone before they actually left, but I guess given the situation being a holiday. They did have it out when I started my move. They may not be the most professional, but they were still very good."

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Willow Springs, MO

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
