Small jobs welcome

"Initially, I was scared because work like this has costed my neighbors hundreds of dollars. Luckily, I went with Eco Delivery & not only was it inexpensive, my yard looks beautiful! When they were done, 3 of my neighbors stopped by inquiring & I referred Eco Delivery to them. Very professional, detailed & fast. They have a customer for life!"

"Estimate occurred as scheduled and was provided the same day. The estimator was professional and answered all questions. Work was quickly scheduled on acceptance of the estimate, was executed on schedule, and had outstanding results, leveling the sidewalk without disturbing the adjacent landscaping and without any debris left after the work was completed. Follow up work to caulk the preexisting cracks from the settling (no new cracks were created during the work)."

"The crew was on-time and cleaned up very nicely. The system does a great job at keeping the water out of the basement and out of the living areas. I would only suggest that before work is done that the full contract be discussed and all points be clarified. I had some miscommunication that was partially my fault that I had missed. The people are great to work with and helped me out with the items that I needed to have completed. I will be using the again for another home."

"Richard and his crew were very professional, timely, and courteous.  His crew were great with our two big enthusiastic dogs (making sure they closed the gates, cleaned up the back yard so there wasn't any garbage they could get into.)  They worked on Saturdays as well.  We had some unforeseen issues with rotting boards behind the drywall in the basement and Richard made sure that they were handled quickly and repaired.  We felt that the work was well done and that he was honest the entire time with us.  We would use Yellow Square Cooperation again without hesitation. <br />"

"This company was great. It was try number 5, after dealing with hard sells to rip up my basement floor taking hours, upsells, price increases, false warranties, wasting my time, this company was a breath of fresh air. They gave me a price (which was good) over the phone of which they honored. They did not try to upsell me at all, but simply offered me a choice, I could use Epoxy or the foam. They explained why the foam was better, and since had a lifetime warranty on either, we just used the foam. The guy did the work right there on the spot, and was done a few hours later, leaving no mess. We just had a huge rain, and no leaks... dry basement. These guys are the ones to hire... no sales people to waste your time measuring and calculating... just the person who does the work giving you an honest assessment and then doing it. Nice to see some of those still exist!"

"Turned out great, repaired edges, and raised or dipped areas. They removed the old brick where repair was needed. Then flattened out the bad areas so patio and walk are now flat. They reused the old brick which kept the look we wanted. One thing they didn't do was replace edging but it appears most areas have support from old edging. They also re-sanded the whole patio and tamped down. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Juan (owner) is very easy to deal with and his crew know their work. Work was done quickly and timely."

"They were and did a good job. They were careful when they discovered the slab had originally been poured at less than appropriate thickness but they were successful in not cracking the slab."

"They must be heavily overcommitted because there is no customer service. They took months to build a simple garage. The structure is fine. Their responsiveness is horrible. Some subs were very good at their craft, some were very sloppy. For example, the remotes and owner manual were left in the garage at the end. When I found them in a box of paint cans, they looked beat up and old. I thought they were garbage because some garbage was left. They really don't seem to respect the homeowner but maybe that is because I am a woman. Regardless, I prefer a better quality of subs and service. As I write this, I am waiting for repairman from another company to fix the brand new nonfunctional garage door that Blue Sky installed. I have to call 3 other companies to fix the mess they left behind. Blue Sky contract does say that they will not be responsible for any collateral property damage, but I was not ready for the total lack of respect they had for my property. The garage is ok. The cement floor, siding and roofing look very nice. But the electric service to the garage door and lights is nonfunctional at this time. They ignore you after payments are made. Once they are paid, you will never hear from them again. The bottom line is that they do not stand behind their work and are unreliable. For these reasons, I can't recommend them. <br />Update: <br />It is the electrical that is faulty, not the garage door opener unit. After calling Blue Sky, someone called me back saying he did not know what I was talking about and asked whether I was a customer. I have a feeling he was a garage door sub. I then called a 24 hour garage door company and an electrician. Together they helped me troubleshoot the problem and suggested a temporary fix until the electrician could come during regular hours. This was a Saturday and, although he would come right away, he gave me the option of a Monday morning service call to save money. Since the burning smell was dissipating and I had to pay extra to correct the faulty wiring by Blue Sky sub, I agreed. It is early Monday morning as I write this, and the electrician is on his way. Still no callback from Blue Sky Builders themselves."

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Wilmington, IL

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
