This included a major change in layouts and moving walls, doors, HVAC, plumbing, gas lines, and electrical. I also had custom cabinets and hall tree built for the space. The final result is exceptional (see photos). While the time ended up taking longer than originally expected, it was worth it to have a trusted pro do the work and to deal with the permit process. The company was easy to work with, professional, and maintained a clean workspace across my house. "I would highly recommend Chicago Reno. Our basement unfortunately had cracked cast iron pipes, and our basement was in shambles because of the plumbing work that was needed. We were looking for a contractor to put our once finished basement back together again. It was a complete tear down and renovation. The team at Chicago Reno are wonderful people. "Michael has not shown up for the 10am appointment per Giovanni who contacted me yesterday and scheduled the appointment. It is now 11am. No one call or follow up at all. Waited for an hour and no show. This is not how business works. Can't trust your company already since you can't even committee a simple appointment. Very disappointed and waisted my valuable time. Please don't call my number anymore. I would give no star but not an option. Highly NOT recommended!!"

"The quality of work is fantastic, and Marek is the best project manager you could ask for. The reason I removed one star is because I believe the quoted contract price, specifically for allowances, can improve. You should expect to add a minimum of $20,000 to your contract price. I also recommend referring to your contract throughout to ensure you aren’t getting an extra charge for something that should be included. Like I said, the quality of work is fantastic, but the up front pricing can improve."
