"They were a great price but did not know how to properly remove the asbestos by testing and treating it. They removed the popcorn ceilings very well and were clean but again did not test the air (I had someone else come by to check and there was quite a bit of toxins left in the air unfortunately)"

"John and his wife did a fantastic job! I was very sick . having reaction to mold..or suspected that's what it was. They came out to test and found out it was a mold problem in the house. I moved out of the house and my lungs cleared up! Breathing so much better! I'm greatfull for the time they spent making sure their testing was accurate. Very sweet couple!"

"They came out quickly and gave us an estimate to remediate mold in our crawlspace. Within a few days they returned to spray and fog under our house. They were very thorough and did testing to make sure that our problem was remedied. Their technician, Lane, was professional and great to work with!"

"I have a degree in construction and am a retired engineer and contractor.. I have never seen a more complete and accurate report. I could find nothing that was left out of the report. I would never consider using anyone else for home inspection again."

"PuroClean showed up and began immediately to dry the damage floors. They also worked with our insurance company helping them understand the damage caused by the leak in a very short time, like less than a week. They were professional and provided Value for the their work including drying the damp areas from below the floor and above removing the possibility of a mold issue."

"PERFECT! I tried many times (8)  to locate the studs within my stud finder not realizing the wood paneling was throwing off the finder. <br /> I finally called the Multiple Sclerosis Group here in Syracuse, NY and asked for a referral (I wanted somebody that worked with MS patients / needs previously).  <br /> They recently had contact with Fisher Construction and passed me his contact information. <br /> Matthew was prompt in calling back and visited to review the job later that day. He reviewed the request and told me how he was going to perform the job if awarded. <br /> Pricing was quite reasonable and I agreed to have Fisher Construction do the job as a fill in when time permitted. My timing was terrific since he was just finishing up one project and fit me in before the next. <br /> He was on time, did what he said he was going to do, used drop cloths and vacuumed before completing the job. <br />  refinish some cabinetI was quite impressed and requested that he proved additional quotes for another project (bathroom new wells, flowing ceiling, exhaust fan and paint some cabinet. <br /> He was full of ideas and although I have not seen his quote, I believe it will be fair. <br /> I would like to see Fisher Construction added to Angies list along with all of the other fine providers. <br /> Regards,  Tom <br />"

FAQs for mold & toxic material test projects in Witter, AR

Some companies offer a no‑cost phone or video consultation that screens for red flags. If the discussion points to a real issue, the pro will recommend a paid on‑site inspection. The complimentary call clarifies whether you need full testing, but it isn’t a substitute for samples, lab work, or a written report. Always confirm what the free service covers before you schedule.

A standard inspection, which includes basic air and surface samples, takes an average of two hours. If the pro needs to probe hidden spaces, such as wall cavities or ductwork, plan on up to six hours. Extra time allows the inspector to reach tight areas, collect additional samples, and document findings. Lab analysis is a separate process and often adds several business days to the overall timeframe before you receive the full report.

Mold thrives where moisture lingers and air flow is poor. Common hotspots include bathroom walls, kitchen backsplashes, window sills, HVAC vents, fireplaces, crawl spaces, and enclosed attics. Check these areas regularly—especially after leaks or high‑humidity weather—to catch growth early and avoid costly repairs.

Unchecked mold can knock 20% to 37% off a home’s market value because buyers worry about hidden damage and health risks. Even after remediation, visible staining or a history of major moisture issues can still lower offers and prolong the time on the market. Addressing mold quickly protects both your property’s structural integrity and its resale appeal.
